Batman: Dark Knight Rises Nokia Lumia 800 special edition unveiled

Nokia has lifted the cover off a brand new version of the Nokia Lumia 800 - Batman: Dark Knight Rises aims to become your first batphone, but only if you manage to get your hands on one and that’s already a daunting task. Why? There are only 40 of those made worldwide. Also, it won’t ever go for sale to the general public making your task even harder.

The first and most noticeable thing that makes the Batman: Dark Knight Rises edition of the Lumia 800 is the laser-etched Batman logo on the back. There are also some slight modifications to the software - two of the live tiles were modified to show the Batman logo, but we don’t know if the handset will arrive with any big changes.

The phone posed for the camera just before the IMAX premiere of the Batman movie in London. If for some reason, that’s the exact phone you’ve been waiting for, we’d suggest you keep your eyes on auction sites like eBay in the near future - but the price probably won’t make you happy.
