Nook Tablet is much better then Kindle Fire in my opinion... IPS screen, expandable Memory, longer battery life, double the amount of internal memory, smoother navigation (apparently though Fire just got an update to fix that), and more appealing user interface (given that is just my opinion).

And the nook tablet has physical volume buttons... So when you are running games that didn't build in volume controls you can still adjust the volume.

Guys, like your comments, but the article is about the update to the nook color and not the tablet. Personally, I am very excited, as I have been waiting for this update for ages. Love the Nook color and this should make it even better.

Yes, had the nook table been available at the time, I would have purchased it rather then the nook color, due to the better processor, but this is still a great ereader with a lot of functionally and even more so after this update.
