BLU Products unveils dual-SIM VIVO 4.3: dual-core processor and Super AMOLED Plus screen for affordable price
Share:
BLU is touting this to be the “world’s first dual SIM smartphone device to feature Super AMOLED Plus technology and dual-core CPU,” and we’re definitely impressed with the specs given that this really is a dual-SIM phone, a category that usually gets run-of-the-mill devices.
So what powers the BLU VIVO 4.3? First, there is a MediaTek MT6577 dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9-based processor, a 4.3-inch WVGA screen and an 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front snapper. The handset features 3G connectivity and comes with 4GB of internal storage.
Best of all, the prices of an unlocked and off-contract BLU VIVO 4.3 starts at $249.99. The release date is set for September, and while we doubt US carriers will pick this one up, retailers probably will carry it, so make sure to check about this phone if you like it in around a month.

At that price you can't argue,as for reliability we will have to wait and see. Good to see tech of this level coming to market at such a low price

Nice! It looks like a downgraded "Batman" version of the GSII.

I have this phone and overall it is great. The battery doesn't last long unless you turn off 3G and Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth then it will last up to 4 days on standby. It is very slim and comfortable to hold. The camera is stated to be 8 Megapixel but the quality of the one I have is a bit lacking. Music and video play alright and the screen is very bright and I didn't notice any lagging. The headphones that come with it are rubbish. Charging is done via a microUSB slot on top. The charger that comes with it is a bit bulky and I ended up swapping it out for a local aftermarket one. The gravity sensor is a bit sensitive. If you want a case for it then I suggest you look for Galaxy S2 cases and modify them to fit.
