BBM 7 exits beta and brings voice calls to BlackBerry users

RIM has been an extremely troubled company recently, and the predictions about BlackBerry 10 are mixed, but the company does still have one killer app: BlackBerry Messenger, and the app just got a pretty big update bringing voice calling to BlackBerry users...

This update wiped BBM contacts off the phones of some Blackberry users, while other users complained of the update deleting Blackberry messenger all together. Way to go RIM!

Were is this dude from? You are saying bull crap.. You don't use a blackberry so stop spreading what never happened.. I use a blackberry and this update is so well done and every contacts all intact and all my contacts who also upgraded never had issues..stop hating!!

The person above is correct. Know of precisely 2 guys whose BBM contacts went away after this update and 1 guy whose BBM was gone altogether.

Fall back and catch your breath, man. I own and use a Blackberry smartphone on a daily basis...I am not hating. I am not criticizing the update either. I am simply stating some of the issues some of my friends encountered after installing the update.
