BBC apps are known for having outstanding multimedia capabilities, such as the BBC News app for both iOS and Android; now available at the App Store is BBC Sport which offers scores, commentary and more with a focus on football (that's soccer for those in the states), cricket and other; the app is a free download for those using iOS 5 or higher...
