What a surprise that you'd be the first to step all over my remark...I guess asking people like you to lighten up is like asking a brick wall to take a hike; it's not going to happen.

Now I guess I know how it feels, you and your ilk get flack for your constant pro-Apple and/or anti-Android comments, and I'm not invulnerable to criticism either. Though I think I do a better job not coming off as smug with my remarks...but that's just one guy's opinion.

Yes, indeed.. apes are very smart. If they can choose between the android & iOS, they will choose the android one. They know that iOS is just a boring icon launcher without widgets & fake multitasking. Unfortunately the zoo keepers only bring them the ipad. If they can speak human language, they will ask the zoo keepers: "bring me an android tablet and let me run ubuntu os in it and transfer music to my brain via NFC"

not in Asia.. We, Asian people, know that the iPad & iPhone are just the overrated & overhyped products, nothing special. They are basically made in China hardware with apple logo on them. So the people who waste too much money to buy apple products actually don't buy the powerful hardwares, but they just buy the very overpriced Apple logo. We are not that stupid. We don't care about brands, we only care about performance to price ratio and features to price ratio. Android is the king here.

I feel sorry and pity to people who buy Apple products. They were robbed, but they are not aware. The cost to build an ipad/iphone itself could probably be just a 1/4 of the actual price.

This isn't just some stupid fanboy war here ala PS3 vs Xbox360 or Toyota Vs Honda or Verizon vs AT&T. It's a struggle in the consumer electronics industry over HOW will our future look - locked up and controlled or open and free.
