wow... I'm starting to wonder what will happen to android tablets I mean I've used a Galaxy Tab 10.1(ICS) and I got to that was no way near the smoothness of this gem. But that might be changed with JB.

i actually think if those android tablets wont be price lower than the iPad, they wont get that much love unlike on the mobile market..

they should lower their price! it is rumored that these win8 RT tablets will be price at $350 for the surface RT and maybe all other RTs too like this, the vivo RT!

or else if they dont do that.. they are not not as they are on the mobile market!

i mean why price too high? android is free and yet the galaxy tab is plastic!

Well looks like Asus' wasn't selling the units at above the Ipad Pricing. I just got one with the Keyboard dock for $443. Honestly for a new product like the RT and such it should be priced competetively With the Ipad, not over it. (Was going to get the surface pro..but for $443... I can use the $600 difference towards a good laptop; and for the Legacy Apps I'd use with the pro, I'm sure my battery life would plummet to only a couple hours)

Yes Sir it does. since this is Windows RT tablet it wont run full windows 7,Vista, or xp PC or Laptop or server Programs Like Window 8 Tablets can but it will run on special Windows "RT" Apps .and has a special version Microsoft office software on it you get Free right out of the box \which will make it a very useful Tablet to a lot of people and that alone is a reason why some People want to buy it

Its also $599 off contract and the keyboard dock($199) is separate.

Even though it's RT, it's more capable than any other mobile-based tablet on the market. Thus, the price, while a tad high, is not unreasonable.

$800 for a tablet that doesn't have full windows? For $600 I can get an ultrabook. If the surface is $350, this Asus will fail.
