It features a 10" IPS LCD with 1366x768 pixels, quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, and HDMI output. The keyboard dock will run you $170 extra. So far Acer seems to be the cheapest of the bunch, with $500 asked for a full-fledged Windows 8 tablet, the Iconia W510...

Round about March, there's going to be a huge glut of unsold Window 8 tabs selling dirt cheap.

Windows RT is already dead in Microsoft womb before it even see the world. I think such HW from Asus does not justify the high price. Asus you already sold us the same HW for 250$ (Nexus 7).

Too much... Microsoft needs market penetration right now. They need to get RT in the hands of all of the people that use Android tablets and convince them that RT is a better OS for them. $500 should be the absolute max for a Windows RT device. And even that price should reserved for the ultra high end models.
