It does resemble the smart cover but it isn't nearly as simple to use. You just bend the smart cover vertically and you know how to use it. Here you have to learn how too fold it in specific ways. Plus it has to go into two ports which seems a little complicated.

nonetheless, i think rottenapple will sue this idea as well, even if it's nowhere near the ipads smartcover. imagine what'd happen if there were more resemblances. another samsung vs apple lawsuit only replace samsung with asus. :D imo this asus cover is more appealing than the apple ones, and more creative.
