Good, waiting for more news about Asus Padfone 2 and new Nexus smartphones and then I will make decision what to buy. So far my candidates are HTC One X+ and LG Optimus G.

I dont get how the onex+ got over 14000 on Antutu despite only being a tegra 3? Thought the S4 pro would tear it apart..

HTC One X+ score is: 13801
LG Optimus G score is: 13643
HTC One X+ score is: 7547
LG Optimus G score is: 7310
But we also should remember that HTC One X+ runs with JB while LG Optimus G runs with ICS.

Yes, I know, I saw that AnTuTu score in www.htcinside.de video. I just took results from official AnTuTu web page. :)

Main differences between Tegra T30 and T33:
HTC One X use Tegra 3 (T30):
1.4 GHz in Quad-Core mode and up to 1.5 GHz in Single-Core mode
750MHz (6 GB/sec)
HTC One X+ use Tegra 3 (T33):
1.6 GHz in Quad-Core mode and up to 1.7 GHz in Single-Core mode
800MHz (6.4 GB/sec)

What about the main comparison between the T33 gpu single channel vs the Adreno 320 gpu dual channel used in s4 pro....Which is truly better in performance....??
... and i heard that this new tegra 3 cpu is supposed to be much more battery efficient and a much more of a beast compared to the old tegra 3, but is it really battery effiecent as they say it is or does it really mean it'll just drain the battery quicker...??

Both the T30 and T33 have the same GPU:
520 MHz ULP GeForce, so the only gain there is the quicker memory and it should drain the battery as the old one.
Probably what you heard about is the next generation of Tegra, that will use Kepler cores instead of Fermi and should be both more powerful and battery efficient.

Thanks for the update...

According to current available information, Tegra T33 is just overclocked T30. So Tegra T33 should eat more energy than T30.

the padfone was really an innovation too bad a lot of people dont see it! and too pricey too!

Wrong! It's just a creation, not innovation.
Innovation = Creation -> Implementation -> Popularization
Asus has many brilliant ideas but their poor manufacturing (leading to poor build quality) and poor firmware support (yeah quick update but somewhat worthless) waste these ideas.

You really have no idea of what a reliable and quality product is...
And I can see you have never own an Asus device.

Tablet: I had TF101, TF201 and TF700T.
You can go to xda to see how people complainted =))

If you really have problems with a TF101... and decided to give a second chance with a TF201, Then WTF did you buy a TF700T?
I am loving my Asus Notebook, I know they might have different quality controls for their different products and departments... but for $800 I got an equivalent to a $1500 MacBook Pro... And the quality it is really comparable..
Anyway I really hope they do right with the PadFone 2 because I am ready to sell the SGS3 for it

By the way, my notebook is an Asus U47A... worth checking out

Because of the keyboard dock =))
My first tf101 is the best Transformer. A little bit cracking issue. Their honeycomb is not bad. But after updating to ICS, it's like catastrophe.
I decided to upgrade to tf201. OMFG: wifi sucked, no GPS, loosing screen and the most horrible quad-core ever (lag even in NVIDIA games) and poor codec support.
When I saw tf700T: "Oh it is great. No 100% metal body so the wifi and GPS are better. Screen is great and I'm sure Asus got some points after the failure of TF201 (delaying this tablet for so long)". But still lag, still not good wifi (though much better than tf201), loosing screen, I/O floating issue,... I know somebody pass all issues after returning 4-5 times (on xda), but sorry Asus, I cannot suffer you anymore.

Well I am sorry you had a bad experience... I will keep that in mind... but will probably have my own opinions if I can get a hold of the PadFone...
I think that relating to the PadFone they have had a widely positive reviews... Hopefully the PadFone 2 can surpass that.

their devices are solid but pricing is really just not priced correctly

asus is way better than acer!

Asus must be able to sell phones first, and the pad should be seen as an accessory only.
we can buy great tablet for $400 then the pad should be priced $100 at most.

I had never heard of ASUS until I bought my G73jh laptop last year, I now use it more than my desktop. I hate hemroid but for the Padfone I'm willing to give it a shot. But what I really want is a Winphone 8 powered Padfone. Since ASUS has said it wants to get into the WP8 arena I don't see why they couldn't make one and there is a rumor there will be a Padfone 3.
