Asus Padfone 2 full unveiling event now online (video)
The Asus PadFone 2 was officially unveiled a couple of days ago with much fanfare and deservedly so - this time Asus seems to have done a great job in bringing a gorgeous phone, and the PadFone station where it plugs in is even thinner and better designed.

But it’s not just the PadFone 2, it is the whole presentation with Asus’ Jonney Shih that makes this even a must-watch. The enthusiastic executive is well known for his Steve Jobs-like behaviour on scene, spiced up with Asian eccentric flavor, overall for a very positive, fun events. This has brought Asus success and the company has risen to be more than just a mainboard maker.

This PadFone 2 is no less entertaining - check out the full video of Milan announcement of the device below.

This is easily the best looking sexiest phone on the planet baby!
I love the ultrabook-zenbook contour design on the back panel with a metallic finish...its just so premium. I mean i guess a lot of android flagships didnt look or feel premium to a lot of users but hey now there's a premium looking and feeling handest that is better then iphone or Windoes devices! Just one more feather in android's cap after all android is diversification personified!
This phone's a work of art!!!

i think the 64 gig version should cover you but yeah i get your point...sd card slot should've been there. Keyboard docks are available for most tablets even if Asus doesn't make one of their own for this model so that's covered too.

By the way who is the troll who is thumbing me and you down...some people are just waste!

Well I got used to having a 16GB phone with an additional 32GB card... So going back to just 32GB in total kind of sucks... and the 64GB is very expensive (both models are)...
But we'll see when time is right...

I dont like to rely on cloud services because carriers in my country suck... literally we have become one of the worst internet providers...

And the keyboard dock needs to come from Asus... I dont mean to just have a Bluetooth keyboard... I want the full keyboard + additional battery + USB ports + SD slot + touchpad... that Asus make for all its tablets.

I don't know whos trolling... Asus hater? Maybe a PA editor.. since they seem to pay little attention to Asus and give unjustified rating to their products... Anyway even with these flaws, the PadFone 2 is still at the Top of my list

now that i come to think of it a keyboard with additional functions you mentioned would be really nice.
I am usually a guy who prefers functionality over looks i mean anything that looks decent enough but packs a punch is my thing but for the first time I have been completely bowled over even by the looks of this phone!

I am just like that... Is the reason why I bought the Atrix 4G... even though the Galaxy S2 was the better phone overall... The capabilities of webtop and accesories seemed very nice at the time...

Now the PadFone is really what I have dreamed of... Having a fully centered device that converge all my tech and can be adapted to the situation, be it at home, office, in an airplane...

This is where the future is heading...

Thats why Microsoft is releasing the surface which takes the approach of Asus Transformers...

I see Apple following the modular concept soon
