Asus Eee Pad Transformer dips to $350 at Walmart

With all the noise around the HP TouchPad nosediving to $99 in its clearance sale, it is easy to forget the trend that non-Apple tablets are getting price cuts across the board to clear inventory and prepare for the holiday season too.

The latest case in point is the acclaimed Asus Eee Pad Transformer, with its innovative keyboard dock, which got cheaper by $50, and you can score a brand new unit now at Walmart for $349.

Unfortunately the tablet is now sold out online, but hopefully inventory will be filled back quickly, or you can grab one at your local store. We also recently saw the Acer Iconia Tab A500, which boasts similar specs to the Transformer, get down to $322 on Amazon, but is now back at $374 there. Sign of the times.
