i love the idea of this but for that price i would rather by a laptop with more functionality. good idea just poor price point for myself and i would assume many consumers

thats just a pricepoint equivilancy. That doesnt mean thats what it will be if/when it launches in the US.
Speaking of which, I got money on the fact that it WONT launch stateside. It would be competing with Asus's own transformer for "keyboard tablet". Especially since the specs are the same. Personally if I were choosing between the two, I'd go for the transformer since the add on keyboard gives it a second battery and other connection options.
