The Asus Eee Pad Slider has been officially confirmed for release in September in various European markets, and what's interesting is that the tablet will only ship in its 32GB variety for a price…

i love the idea of this but for that price i would rather by a laptop with more functionality. good idea just poor price point for myself and i would assume many consumers

thats just a pricepoint equivilancy. That doesnt mean thats what it will be if/when it launches in the US.
Speaking of which, I got money on the fact that it WONT launch stateside. It would be competing with Asus's own transformer for "keyboard tablet". Especially since the specs are the same. Personally if I were choosing between the two, I'd go for the transformer since the add on keyboard gives it a second battery and other connection options.
