Assembled new iPhone 5 leaks, claiming it's the real deal

We've seen purported schematics, front and back panels of the next iPhone, but we haven't seen the thing assembled so far, and today's leak filled that inexcusable omittance. The assembled iPhone back looks very much stuffed in that unibody backplate that leaked last week with the funky speaker grills, seems to be machined pretty well for a fake, despite the scuffs and scratches, and the source says there aren't traces of Photoshop wizardry, but we won't know until we see the real thing...

That actually looks extremely good. Unfortunately, looks aren't everything.

Whatever your comments here it is somehow helpful, but remember that you should THANK this two tech giant because the way they compete with each other the more features are created, and we should enjoy that. You should realize that because of them our way of communicating is better than before. Imagine! If without competition, definitely all the boring thing is in your hands right now, so let them work, compete and bring out the best stuff they can offer to us.

dont hold it against me, however i think these "leaked images" are actually really good 3D renders by an artist, i found them on 9to5mac.com and he is actually selling his renders for around $50 and i'm almost positive it's the same exact design and images?

It looks nice, but I'm pretty sure this is fake. The fact that all of the photos are so oblong is suspicious. I'm willing to bet that's because the screen on the phone is a photoshopped iPhone 4/4S screen that wouldn't correctly fit into a larger device.

Well, either this is a complete fake, or its completely legit.
It must be a placeholder. First because it says it's running on AT&T. Second, take a look at the messages, in iOS 5, which I assume is running on the iPhone 5, maybe even iOS6. Messages, changed to iMessage. This photo was most likely taken on May 7, a monday, as you can see on the calendar. Don't you think it would be running iOS 5? (considering iOS 5 came out with the 4S). (Don't you think its a bit suspicious that this guy only has 1 message. (email). It intrigues me because I'm sure anyone who checks any of there devices. Will see most of them have well over 100. Also, the headphone jack is evidently located now at the bottom. (notice that the battery percentage is not visible) Also, notice that there has been a folder of apps created, most likley pointing to the fact that is a personal use phone.
So now that you have all the facts, try to come to a conclusion.
My conclusion: I don't freaking know.
