Microsoft released the windows phone 8 in november !!!
i think you understand what i mean !

Yeah but windows phone was introduced in MWC 2010, 3 Years ago.
5. windroid posted on 01 Mar 2013, 09:31 6
And that means what?
Bet you wouldn’t be able to run a game like this in Android 2.2 (Froyo) also from 2010.
Android evolved, so did WP.

What i meant is that windows phone has been around for years, not just since november.

And "fouadqr" was talking about WP8, the only capable of supporting multicore processors necessary to run such type of games.
Nothing to do when the SO was released because Android from that same period (2010) was a piece of crap.

and u have clearly lack of knowledge about how wp8 differs from wp7 and this game is not compatible with wp7.8 i guess
17. SonyXperiaNexus posted on 01 Mar 2013, 10:15 1
wp7 was s**t. wp8 is completely different. it may look the same but everything has changed on the inside. wp7 wouldn't allow anything to be done coz of its hardware limitations. its different enough to consider them a different os.

LOL try running this game on wp 7/7.5 on more than 5fps

18. windroid posted on 01 Mar 2013, 10:17 1
Waiting for unity for WP8, that will be a boost for the platform!

yes this is the last chain remaining for completing the dev demand as they are unable to do this awsome stuff. and i guess unity is coming for wp in april or May as unity 4.0 is out and wp8 support was announced for unity4.x version

Adn you can predict the future? If someone wants to use an OS now they the ecosystem has to be there. I'm not buying a phone for what it's going to be or for what it may be but for what it is.
10. ahhxd717 posted on 01 Mar 2013, 09:59 6
Oh yeah, I'm sure you would have had the same thing to say about Android a few years ago then.

wp store already has the basic apps that are more than enough to keep the majority of the consumers happy. the mid range windows phone deliver the same performance as the high end which makes them excellent choice for people looking at midrange handsets, something android can't offer. they may not be enough for power users yet but thats going to change soon as you can see windows phone has started gaining popularity.

Windows Phone is very nice OS. But apps are very big problem, not because of quantity, but because of unavailability of most popular apps & games. It makes me so mad, and that's the reason why I'm still using Symbian. Android has everything I need, but UI is boring beacuse almost everyone owns Android Phone. iOS has nice apps and UI but os is very limited (no BT file transfer, no memory card slot - these are very important things to me). And now WP, great UI, no lags and iOS-like restrictions are gone, but the Store is full of trash. I want a WP device so bad, but I'm affraid that I'm never gonna get these great apps which are available on iOS and Android. What should I do? Can anyone tell me which OS should I ˝switch˝ to?
24. darac posted on 02 Mar 2013, 01:55 0
^install launcher 7 or launcher 8.
Or wait for Jolla device.
They will support Android apps.
Btw it is beyond me how you can consider android interface to be boring.
You can freaking change it any way you want
26. chaoticrazor posted on 02 Mar 2013, 08:12 3
it is beyond me how you can be such a closed minded fanboy who spreads hate on nokia and wp8 on articles. if you have no interest in what the article is about why comment?
this is about wp8, you enjoy trying to belittle this news saying other os's had other games. well done pointing out the obvious yet it means nothing. this shows wp8 is growing which i know you hate as like i said your a fanboy that ties his choice of os in with his life
news flash android isnt perfection, others want something different not everyone thinks the same. and as for ''launcher 7 and 8'' why get an imitation if someone wants the real thing?
28. darac posted on 03 Mar 2013, 02:49 0
Oh, the idiot is still alive.
Let me point out the obvious to you, dummy.
He said:
-He uses symbian (never used android obviously)
- Android UI is boring. (wanna describe me what exact part of android UI is boring?)
- Android UI is boring BECAUSE EVERYONE USES ANDROID
(notice the complete lack of sense he made there?)
- he asked for an advice on WHICH OS TO SWITCH TO, FROM SYMBIAN, THAT WONT BE A WP, AND WILL HAVE PLENTY APPS
BEYOND YOU?
YEAH, YOU JUST RECONFIRMED JUST HOW STUPID YOU ARE
31. chaoticrazor posted on 03 Mar 2013, 08:15 1
lmao so your still as thick as ever, i thought well was hoping you had gained some intellect since ive been gone but nope still an idiot fanboy.
the fact he said android is boring is probably due to the classic clock widget on first screen icons and other widgets after layout many choose. yes you can use different launchers to imitate other os styles but the core is the same. so thats his opinion on that you should move on instead of acting like a child.
''Android UI is boring BECAUSE EVERYONE USES ANDROID ''
take out the ''ui'' and the comment holds its on as unlike you not everyone wants android. i know you believe its the os from the gods but others arent as blind as you. android isnt the one stop solution to everything. like how you bitch about nokia going android well theres a sea of android phones why arent you satisfied? it shows your precious side are missing something or you wouldnt whine.
what else you got fanboy?
29. darac posted on 03 Mar 2013, 03:08 1
Oh and you WP boys just collectively recoformed here how don't really have a clue about Android, games, and the hardware.
I ran this exact game on Xperia Arc on Android 2.3.
Xpria Arc:
Snapdragon S2(MSM 8255), 1GHZ single core, Adreno 205 GPU, 512mb RAM
Nokia Lumia 900/Samsung Ativ S etc ..:
Snapdragon APQ 8055 (the same SoC as the above, but with LTE), 1-1.4Ghz single core, Adreno 205, 512mb RAM..
Was this phone too weak to run it?
Was WP 7.5 inferior to android 2.3?
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_titan_ii-4411.php
The specs were more than enough, and WP 7.5 is one year old OS!
You poor noobs

..just take a look at the vast amount of high end games flooding iOS and Android every month.
It is really a 10:1 situation compared to windows phone.
The disparity is increasing, not decreasing.
And every intelligent, well informed, non biased person will confirm that.
