As the 2014 baseball season gets underway, Windows Phone version of At Bat is updated
With the 2014 Major League Baseball season starting next week in earnest, one of the best apps for baseball fans has been updated for Windows Phone users. At Bat 14 is the official app of MLB and has been updated to include pitch-by-pitch tracking, realistic renderings of all 30 Big League ballparks, and push notifications telling you when there is pitching change, or a lead change.

While the app is free, if you're a real baseball fan, you will need to pay for a subscription to At Bat 14 to get the real cool features such as home and away radio broadcasts for any game. If you have a MLB.TV Premium subscription, you can watch every out-of-market game.

Those settling for the free version of the app will see the latest scores, news, standings, and schedules. You will also be able to pin you favorite team to your Start page and watch in-progress video highlights.

Can the Boston Red Sox repeat? Will Jose Fernandez win the NL Cy Young award? If you have a handset powered by Windows Phone 8, this is the app you can use to track the entire season, culminating with the crowning of a new World Series Champion in October.
