what a horrible move. wvga and qhd screens don't even come close in comparison to the retina display. In this case bigger is not better.

After a year and a half apple comes up with this crap again. You come out with one phone a year and they barely upgrade anything. When i heard the the iPhone 5 will have a bigger screen and resolution i was like hey i might go back to iOS but no you come out with a phone that is going to FLOP. Apple im glad your stocks fell and that you not going to get many sells out of this. I see why you added sprint theyre customers base could pick up your loses and i doubt that is going to happen now. Apple needs to step it up or else theyre going to lose more of their followers. Now it looks like the Nexus Prime or the S3 is for me.

I still think the iphone is the phone to get on at&t and verizon until the prime comes out its a toss up between that and a bionic. However on sprint i feel the sgs2 is the phone to get. I am disapointed for sure was expecting something big but we still got a great proccesor a great camerea 4G the fabulous new ios 5 with imessage notification bar and ota syncing all which is very cool. Along with a great battery in a easy to work phone that can fit in my pocket. Not that bad of a day then.

Ment to say on verizon its between that and the bionic for best phone until the prime/razors comes out.

So youre saying, "Since Apple got all of the Android updates such as ota updates, drop down notification bar, Blackberry messenger, and a voice control beta that most people wont use", NOW you have an OK phone? lol

You could have bought an Android and had pretty much ALL of this...MONTHS AND MONTHS ago, with OPTIONS!

We got more polished features though were as android gets the beta verisons. I am not trying to say android is bad i like them on android to as they both have stuff the other doesnt. The iphone 4 is still a great phone the iphone 4s has a couple more nice things now.

siri is beta also...agree though apple products are more polished but android with ICS is if the leaks etc are true is even more streamlined...never had an issue with gingerbread to be honest...as long as its on the right phone such as the s2 then you see how smooth android can really run

You forgot the issues....... Look at the Verizon phone's for instance. 2.3 updates. Tisk Tisk. At least we know that ios 5 will work. Hey check this out "sowhatyoursayingisi'manidiot" voice control is not even close to good on the android phones. You can pretty much use it like 3.5 percent of the time and I think that I am giving too much credit there. Second, the notification bar on the android phone looks stupid. Third, the OTA updates on the android phone..... I don't even want to get started. Talk about premature.

the nexus prime wont have that issue. its a NEXUS.. all updates come direct from google and bypass the carriers. that is the point of the nexus

We are getting an update in mid-November to fix the camera issue! ICS? possibly

ICS.....Remember when Gingerbread first came out. It did exactly what the name intales and crumbled under pressure. Hate to say it, no actually I don't, but ICS will probably cause 60% of android users to have issues just like Gingerbread.

This was like a REALLY late, yet hilarious April Fools joke. All the gloom and doom that was predicted for iOS 5 to destroy Android, and all iOS fans got was the 4s! Probably a great phone just as the ip4 is, but not quite the bad ass iOS fans expected.

This is still an amazing phone people. I'm not a fanboy, I'm into Google's philosophy, but let's be honest here. Everyone wants this super phone to come out when really the iPhone 4S is actually still a great phone if you take the time to appreciate what it is instead of what it isn't. Should it have had LTE? F*&k yeah. But beyond that they just released an entirely new phone from the ground up just over a year ago, and this update still holds its own with a dual processor, a screen that still hasn't really been beaten, and now Siri which looks pretty interesting. The camera? Meh. As a photographer I think any camera in a phone is a last minute resort because I don't have a real camera on me at the time. Having said this, enjoy what you have. I'll wait for the Prime or Vigor and enjoy the LTE spoils.

No NFC and the AWESOME (.. sarcasm) gorilla glass are kind of weak... I wish those had been updated. Apple had a lot of potential to continue their dominance in the market and climb exponentially in market share within the next few months, but they dropped the ball... I was waiting for the GS2 and the iP5... not impressed with Apple :(

Well I'm disappointed. It took this long to bring out a new phone and it is only an improved version that has none of the features I was hoping for......like a bigger screen.....that stinks.

After waiting and waiting to buy a phone to see what the new iPhone was going to be (and thinking it would be the one I would buy), I guess I'll go get the Samsung Galaxy II S.

I can't remember when I've felt so disappointed and let down.
