the heck w/ the TiVo! LOL...I'm definitely getting and already have all of the accessories ordered. I actually had the pleasure of a sneak peek of the Storm today in person and got to play with the device for about an hour. I admit, when you switch from portrait to landscape the response time is a little slow, but given all the features it has on it, it is truly awesome! The whole capacitive touch screen, it's beyond anyone's imagination, IT ACTUALLY CLICKS! lol...it's tiny, it's thin, very sexy device. only if i could post a pic on here. Even the mute and lock(standby) buttons on top are like others, NO ACTUAL BUTTONS (with the exception of the convient keys on the sides). The most awesome thing is that VCast music software is coming near you available for download once it's ready, can't wait!

I am not sure. I'm in between the storm and the touch pro, and I want to use both devices before making a decision.

the one thing that annoys me about verizon's touch pro is that the up arrow separates the M and N keys. NO PRO FOR ME.

I ALREADY HAVE A STORM ON RESERVE AT THE LOCAL SEATTLE STORE! I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE THE TRACKBALL OR JOGWHEEL FOUND ON MOST BLACKBERRY'S BUT LOVE THE OS. I CURRENTLY HAVE THE DARE AND HAVE LEARNED TO LOVE TOUCH BASED DEVICES. THIS PHONE WILL APPEAL TO ALL PARTIES WHO WANT STYLE AND PRODUCTIVITY ALL IN ONE ATTRACTIVE PACKAGE.... I PROUD TO BE AMONG ONE OF THE FIRST TO OWN A VZW BB STORM.......

If you've had it for a year, you may be eligible for an annual upgrade. Also depending on your rate plan you may be a VIP member and can get $50 off with no early upgrade fee. ALSO if you go from the Q to the storm you may end up paying more per month for the BB data package. call VZW and see what your options are.

It depends what price plan you are on $59.99 or higher can get an early upgrade. It will be the two year discount price if you can, and if you are buying outright it will be around $550.00. Hope I was helpful.

Hate to break it to you, but it is a price plan that is $49.99 or higher

With a BB you have to have the internet package & the storm is rev A & Verizon's 3g coverage area is huge. so that was kind of dumb

i was just playing with one at the verizon store and the freakin thing pushes down when you type. its almost like a 3D keyboard and increasing typing efficiency atleast 100 fold... get one oh and its not that bulky

it is almost the same size as the curve and alittle shorter than the iphone so your friends are smoking something

funny you mention that, but my friend smokes weed countless times a week. well anyways, 22 you pretty much convinced me. Can you tell me something though I have had a moto Q for a year and i want to get the storm but dont wanna pay a bajillion dollars for it... how much do you think i will have to pay?

well if you have had for a year then you should be able to use an annual upgrade assuming you are at least on a 59.99 plan or higher... if not move to one (ie. select 450) and try to get them to let you upgrade before christmas... the rules state you have to be on a 59.99 plan or higher for three months but considering the phone requires data you should be cool

For me it is about options and the storm just doesn't have the options that i need and want. So for me I will be not getting the storm.

Yes, Yes, Yes, I will be going to my local NYC location and getting one. They said the store is opening an hour early. Also, they said that they will not sell any full retail price units. You either need to be eligible for an upgrade or a new customer.

I'll be going to the midtown location if Columbus, GA to pick mine up Friday morning. The store is opening at 9 a.m (normal hour) which means I'll be there at 7 a.m sharp lol. After that, it's off to my first college class of the day to flaunt my new toy off to all my friends who have the iPhone, G1, Touch Diamond, and Touch Pro.

Want to try it first, I never buy a phone based on hype (learned the hard way with Apple), also phones do have a history of buggy launches...I'll wait a little first.

249 up front and then you mail in for $50 back. Making the phone $199 when all is said and done.

and if you're up for your NE2 upgrade (at least 20-months into your contract) you get a $100 upgrade credit

posted on 20 Nov 2008, 08:24

or a $50 credit(depending on plan) and you have to be the primary.... sorry to correct but its really annoying to have a family of 5 come in all expecting an extra 100 off their lines when 4 are 9.99 add a lines.. its like come on people do the math 9.99 x 20 months = 199.80 ... the phones are subsidized at least 130 bucks already...

i'm NOT gonna buy that piece of shit A.K.A copy cat of the Iphone. sorry, is only 1 Iphone with the BEST touchscreen ever on a mobile phone, BEST UI period, thousands of useful applications etc... these companies trying to compete with the Iphone needs STOP following '' Steve Jobs coat trail by immitating almost everything he got on the Iphone. just come up with ya own shit and call it the day. there wil neverl be a Iphone killa anytime soon, the only phone gonna be a Iphone killa is the Iphone itself NOT the verBLOWzon wireless name bb storm with the FAKE NIKE check on it. I'll bet u, for those of u who disagree with me would pick the IPHONE OVER BB STORM if verBLOWzon announce they will have the Iphone on their network the same day bb storm set to release. so SUCK IT UP! and wait for 4 more years b4 verBLOWzon can have it. stop hattin' on phone because ur verBLOWzon dont carry it.
