Aralon: Forge and Flame is an upcoming iOS RPG with mouth-watering graphics
However, it seems that Aralon: Forge and Flame will feature full day and night cycles. Several explorable areas will be available, too, each with its own environment and graphical style.
Aralon: Sword and Shadow, which was released back in 2010, allowed gamers to immerse in a dynamic, beautiful 3D world. Players could choose among 4 character classes and 3 playable races – humans, elves, and trolls.

I'd say that looks like about late xbox. Maybe early xbox 360.

exactly what I was thinking, the graphics appeared to be on par with Fable from 2004 off the Xbox... I guess we can be fair and say it's on par with the higher res PC version from 2005, but that's where the line is drawn.

Yes i agree with you,software is not yet on xbox 360/ps 3 level but mobile soc will definetly be on that level this year.

Why are game developers so focus on graphics (I am not saying it isn't important) and little thought to the plot or story? "This game's graphics is awesome", "Oh that game's graphic is 'mouthwatering'" (shaking my big head). I rather play a game with lesser graphics but with an intense and captivating plot than behold some glorious graphics but dumb plot.
My own opinion.

I have 2 words and a number for you.....Final Fantasy 6. A story as deep as the ocean, and ground breaking soundtrack (with polyphonics no less), with some of the most likable characters in rpg history.

well in the case of mobile games, they are meant to be played on the go. It is harder to sell a new player on an intricate plot than it is on device pushing graphics. The graphics are an immediate benefit that can be enjoyed, whereas a strong plot takes a while to get the benefit from. The wait is worth it of course, but when ti comes to those kinds of games, most of us rather have them on our TVs or Monitors than on the tiny phone or tablet screens.
