Apps on iPhone 5s are crashing twice more often than on previous models

We’ve praised the Apple iPhone 5s for its meaningful innovation with Touch ID and for its great hardware put in that same aluminum box, but we also have to admit that iOS 7 on it comes with a surprising amount of bugs and issues…

Its apples os ui remained stale for years perhaps for a reason, apple knew they would the problems if they changed it. Now that they have its a copy of android but a buggy mess of a copy. The reaction ive seen from most custoners ins store to ios7 is not good

Evertime I play certain songs form my iPhone 5s my iTunes crashes. Its a bit annoying. I probably have to re-sync for it to resolve. Other then that I havent had any issues.

I'd be suffering if that ever happened to me. I listen to music at least three hours a day. How do you do it?

Sometimes, a device is all an individual has (or, in this case, music). They could get identified with it as it could offer you so many options that eases you through a day. Even more, it's 100% personal, so that adds to how you empathize with it. Please, don't judge other people for what they love. You have your own crap; everybody else does, too.

+1 My job is extremely stressful, streaming music while driving home is a huge relief.

I will post on apple fans most used response for them. "I haven't seen any bugs or errors since updating to ios7. Everything has been smooth as ever because it's apple and everything always works :)"

Uh no. Android users, as well as WP are willing to step up and admit the bugs in the OS. Using the report a bug option to the developer and Google or Microsoft does a lot more than you think.

lol, android is becoming more stable & faster.
Next time try trolling harder

BTW, the bugs in android & WP are not severe like iOS 7.
Look at the pictures of iOS 7 bugs above. The bugs are severe.

You buy a super expensive phone that has many bugs?
My $100 android phone runs smooth & crash free.

you guys act like this happens on 100% of apple devices running ios 7... that's just not true...

its a small percent of people who are effected with those bugs.

Not for me it hasn't, but then again as a techie I expect imperfection. Unless it's pizza, then it's gotta be perfect.

emmm they reviewed PHONE, not software. If you would rely more on software then android devices wouldnt pass 8 score….

Phone without a software, separate? Right? :D
Think before making silly excuses! ;)

First of all, my avatar shows that I don't like certain type of Apple users (not all).

I'm a "little kid" because you are making silly excuses? It more looks like you are out of reasonable arguments to justify your silly excuses. :D

@nestea, PAU has a point though, the software of the phone is part of the review, unless you didn't read it. Noticed after updating my iphone 5, the battery drained a lot quicker. Had to start carrying my charger around, just in case. Even though you use a particular platform shouldn't make you blind to their faults. Constructive criticism helps to push development/improvement.

what about the on screen keyboard bugs like the picture above? Isn't the keyboard part of the OS?
what about the lock screen bug? Isn't lock screen part of the OS?
the the blue screen of death? Isn't that caused by the OS?

"If you would rely more on software then android devices wouldnt pass 8 score…."

you forget the phones like Xperia Z1, HTC One, Galaxy Note 3. Those phones are worthy to get 9 score.

Don't you know that bugs in iOS are due to the user not launching the app correctly?

Still happens on windows 8, but they've added a smiley. Smh...like that would help calm your rage when you've just lost all your unsaved work.
