From the moment it launched in November, the Apple iPad mini continued to see longer shipping times, exacerbated by the holiday season and CEO Tim Cook said that suppliers were having problems meeting demand but that things would change by the end of the March quarter; looks like the supply-demand equation is coming into balance sooner than thought...

Im not shocked. It was a sub par device with least than desirable specs. But for the average user and not any of us on this sites it would be a great device if it had better specs and a better screen Id might have picked it up. Im not to picky with the OS unlike many here because I dont need anything to fance appart from a decent browser and a good multimedia center. But the lower specs didnt attract me like the Nexus 7 did. Maybe next year.
