Apple is said to be internally testing iOS 6.1 which suggests that the gold master build will soon be ready and that the latest build of iOS will soon be in the hands of the public; among the new features discovered when the software was in beta was Siri's new ability to purchase a movie ticket for you along with an easier way to complain about Apple Maps...

Yeah so advanced to the point that it doesn't even have a file manager, proper multitasking or even the ability to send files via bluetooth. Oh the UI is soo boring, soo ancient compared to WP or Android.. Troll harder next time..

Myx I love iOS too, but don't u think the current iteration has gotten stale? Don't u think its time to push the envelope? I think iOS is super stable, but super boring and restrictive... Hopefully this changes in ios7, and I think it will due to the heat that Samsung is giving apple.

Apple has to do something major with iOS 7 (not claim 200+ features and really get 2 or 3) and something major with the iPhone. iPhone 5S is not a great idea at this point and different colors won't be enough. They need to release iPhone 6 with iOS 7 and need to blow everyone away. I'm an iPhone/iOS fan and user but gosh things are stale. All I can say is my contract is up in November and I'm not that easily impressed so I'll have to see what happens.

I got the galaxy note 2, and am really liking it. I've been a primary iOS user since 2007, but I'm slowly losing interest due to apple refusing to push the envelope... I need to see something huge with ios7, otherwise I'll just update my 5 and purchase the note 3. I'm really digging this device (other than the archaic limit for mms to text videos).

Let's see how laggy it runs on my iPod touch 4.

but the ios 6 is running very fast on my ipod touch 4, even after jailbreaking it and restoring it many times(last year on ios 5.1.1).........
i think there is some problem with your itouch 4g and i think it will run perfectly if you restore it.......

Nope. the problem is iOS 6. Just like iOS 5 was a bit of a performance downgrade from iOS 4. Maybe lag is not the correct term, but apps now take longer to load and many apps or games are barely or not usable at all as they either get very choppy or simply crash.

my ipod is working really well, its just as fast as it was on ios 5, i don't really remember how fast it was on ios 4 but its still running(ios 6.0.1) faster than my brother's galaxy nexus on android 4.2 , but my ipad 3 and my cousin's iphone 4s are much faster than my itouch 4g, so i think you are right, now lets hope that it becomes a little faster and better with ios 6.1
