You’ve probably already heard the big news - Apple will announce its new iPads at an event on October 22nd. The date is hardly a surprise for anyone following the Cupertino company as it has already set a precedent…

Totally different classes of tablets (as you should know) MaxiPads are large-screened iPoods, Surface Pro (and other x86/x64 tablets, laptops, and computers) are full-on desktop-class machines. Comparing an RT machine to android and ios tablets is more accurate, but I would only take the RT tablet (of those three options).

Which is why I said it's the best besides the Surface Pro...

iPad > RT sorry.

Am I the only here who thinks surface 2 blows this tablets out of the water? I mean come on guys, surface 2 has same battery life as the rest yet offers more. W8.1, the smoothers OS on the planet. Add in 64bit processing plus 4-8gb of ram. This is the future, one day you guys will realise it.

What I think is that it doesnt matter whos got the most attention. What matters most is.. whos got the best/most innovation. That should be the concern PA, right?

That should be, however it is never the main concern. Hype is what gets phones/devices sold, not innovation. That's why marketing is such a big concern and one of the main reasons HTC is in decline. The galaxy line as well as the iphone recieved heavy coverage - even if they are the same thing just updated specs and a few extra features here and there - and yet they are the most popular selling phones. Unfortunately hype > innovation when it comes to the majority of people when they buy phones.

Well... we know Apple.. the iPad will be the same of the same... with a more powerfull chip. Thats it. I dont think Nokia did it wrong on this... we already know that many phones are better than iphones.. so by doing this they are saying we can do it better also, i think Apple is the one that needs to be afraid... they can not dissapoint. Nokia you will have my attention that date.

Apple event for me. Sole reason is because my iPad is 3 years old and need a new one.

Nokia/MS is cool but not many people buying them these days. Maybe next year.

Nokia/MS all the way. My eyes are tired of seeing that block of aluminum, no matter what color it comes out in. It'd still look the same.

just how much money does phone arena get from apple in support. I try to keep an open mind about the differnent products but phone arena is so bias. I stop at this site for giggles but never take it seriously.
