Apple's TV venture to be every episode at any time with an iOS interface, accessible from iPhones and iPads

Apple's idea is that it will offer content that revolves around the viewer's convenience, rather than a strict programming scheme. More or less it is supposed to be like a TIVO in the cloud, offering you every TV series episode at any time, even minutes after it has started airing live on one of the big networks. This certainly bests most on-demand services, which only offer a few episodes back from the current season...

Meh. I was hoping they were going to go after ala carte channel subscription. That would have forced the cable companies to rethink their dark ages model of bundling 10 channels you want with 200 you don't at an exorbitant price.

BTW, I just started watching Breaking Bad on Netflix last month. I'm up through the midpoint of season 3. Wow! I had no idea what I was missing. Great show. (Same thing happened with Curb Your Enthusiasm. Never watched it until recently, and now wish I'd caught it from the start.)

Not a bad idea, hopefully is meets Apples quality standards.

Will there be a Lawsuit Comedy channel?
Judge Koh: "...are you smoking crack?"
(A snicker behind the scenes.)
Apple lawyer: "Your honor, I can assume you we are not smoking crack."
(Hysterical laughter behind the scenes.)

Apple witness: "So, yeah... I thought till the last moment i'd buy an iPhone. But actually in the box was a Samsung refrigerator! I was shocked - the designs were too much alike."

Ah ... Dish Network has had this every since they released their Sling Adapter for their satellite receivers a few years back.

I can watch any show that I have recorded ... anywhere I have internet.

I can also watch any channel I have subscribed to ... live ... anywhere I have internet.

Of course ... Wifi is best as it won't eat up my data plan.

It works great!

Yea, but apple will "Redefine the meaning of TV!"

Then they will "Redefine it again!"
