Apple's CEO says company is 'cooking' up new stuff to reverse stock drop

0. phoneArena 27 Feb 2013, 17:47 posted on

Apple CEO Tim Cook, while not exactly bringing up an iWatch, has heard the call of analysts, investors and fans, who have connected the recent drop in the company's stock price with the lack of innovation at the company; Cook said that Apple is working on some "great stuff" that could help reverse the recent drop in the stock price...

London bridge is falling down falling down falling down
opppssss.... sorry wrong song...

apple stock is falling down falling down falling down
apple stock is falling down falling down falling down
My fair droid

Apple should let the stock price 'settle down' to the real value sooner.
The more Apple 'cook' the price to be up there, the harder it be when it fall.

Come on now Apple, dont do me like that! Please, I've had so much fun watching your yearly presentations, laughing my ass off when you release identical products over and over again. Why do you suddenly have to act all.. innovative and stuff? That's some real new-age bulls**t man!

I'm looking forward to seeing what Apple comes up with. Hopefully they've abandoned the 5 year plan Jobs had in place, because iOS is in desperate need of a makeover. Six years with no real change, other than the Notification Shade...oops...Notification Center, is far too long. This whole "iWatch" idea sounds like crap, but who knows, maybe they'll revolutionize the watch industry next.

Me personally, I would love to see a 5 inch, all metal iPhone with expandable memory, 13 ultrapixel camera, an S Pen like stylus, 1080p screen, NFC, and wireless charging. Will they do it, maybe not. But it would a monster!

The money they spent in law suits they could have put in to R&D to push the envelope again. They had to see it coming, but instead of getting ahead of the game they tried to block innovative competition.

Too bad, because they re invented the cell phone game. Had it not been for them we would be stuck with poor performing windows. It took Apple to cause every one to up their game!

because it's apple. You know apple right? The company that's still using the same OS/UI it had 6 years ago? The company that builds 2 things: PCs and ipods of varying sizes/functionality?

What a stupid question from a stupid man.

One day people woke up and realized a 4" screen & a six year old stale OS just doesn't cut it.

"There has been no earth-shattering new product since the death of co-founder Steve Jobs."

And we will never see an earth-shattering product because Steve was the brains "and" the muscle behind the entire operation. Apple/Tim Cook is so afraid to take risk and we get a product that is either a downgrade in a pretty package (ipad mini) or a product that just catches up (iPhone 5). I don't even know who runs Samsung but their kicking a$$. Samsung takes risk and we get the Note which some people said was going to be a failure (Gizmodo). The S3 and Note 2 is like freaking Batman and Robin and the iPhone 5 is the penguin (black, white and 4 feet tall).
And now we got the HTC One that beats out the iPhone 5 in every category.

Watch is interesting stuff? Apple or any other company such crap would never replace my 7 mm think watch with a white dial, roman numerals and hour and min hand 18 carat gold plated conventional wrist watch.

Everything else what Apple calls is "NEW" is nothing but the same old version presented as NEW :)

APPLE is done.... ever since their megalomaniac leader died, they offered nothing but a rehash of their previous products with incremental upgrades...then they would label it as ''revolutionary''.... Samsung has been blazing past them in terms of tech advancements they hardly could catch up

i hope its something in at least a (rumored) 4.8" screen, NFC (Wifi-direct/S Beam range-like capable for at least photos/recorded video & non-proprietary music files) in addition to what Apple already does well. it better not be just some smart watch.

It's too late Apple no matter what you do u will still be number 2. Great stuff my ass. maybe to you but not to us. b/c their are other options that will do a much better job than you do when you decide to launch those things..

I used to own an iPad 2, iPad 3, and an iPhone 4s. The lawsuits and the fact that they had 100 billion in the bank, another free billion from Samsung, and STILL raised the Canadian price of the iPhone 5 from $649.99 to $699.99 really shows how much they were raping me before and how they will increase the size of their loyal customers butthole to feed their greed. They are even getting money from HTC Android phones by using prior art.

The Apple fans need to draw the line somewhere.

This image as the greedy villain is what is lowering their stock, not a lack of products.

Nope. they are the greediest company alive and like to bully people for inventions that they didn't create. That is why I dislike them.

You actually sound jealous of apples success. They're not raping anyone, rape is a violent act of force. I don't see apple forcing anyone to buy their products. Apple make quality stuff that people like, or dislike, if you don't wanna buy it then don't. If you wanna buy it go buy it, and just enjoy your purchase. Tre-Nitty is correct, you're just a hater...Tater. Tater the hater should be you're screen name.

Oh no, they are raping your butthole pretty good. Any company that charges 5 x more than their competitors, who makes better products, is raping their customers.

APPLE IS BECOMING THE MOST BORING PRODUCT company now. literally no innovation at all.making fool out of ppl with same old stuff. look at apple iphone5. whats new? nothing really. increased screen length just for the sake of doing it because other companies r making bigger screens. wow apple.... ur idiots. and on the other hand the screen width remains the same.no nfc. wow apple again!!!! APPLE----------- U R FIRED !!!!!!!!!!

Interesting. The response is what will tell the tale. If the new product they are working on does little to help their situation, we could very well be singing a different tune to Apple.

HApple is working on "great stuff." Instead of a new thunder adapter on the side or yet another row of icons, they are probably are working on all new lawsuits and requests of bans....great stuff!

lol, taking the smartwatch idea from everyone who presented at CES, loading it with an even watered down iOS is not "working on "great stuff"" Mr Cook...
