Last week, Apple's App Store reached its 5th birthday, and in celebration Apple made 5 popular apps and 5 games free for users. One of those games was Infinity Blade 2, which went from costing $6.99 to being free, and that led to some huge growth for the game. Ah, the Infinity Blade 2.. an example of a game so well made, perfectly adapted for the platform, and ahead of its time that making a worthy successor is a daunting task.
I was like, oh thank goodness, when Infinity Blade: Dungeons got axed ..it was just a typical, generic dungeon crawler with classic controls and would ruin the franchise.
The Infinity Blade 3 has to live up to the expectations, deliver another triumph of graphics, story, and gameplay.. and the waiting is a good sign I guess. Such game takes time to develop
