Maher is a basket case left winger, but he's got stones, like Eastwood, just that Eastwood is a lot smarter, more handsome and more successful.

Maher is not a basketcase, and I would be willing to bet he is far more intelligent than Eastwood. You are essentially a rightwing fanboy, and if someone disagrees with your point of view then they must be stupid? Tell me which side is stumping for creationism -- which has zero scientific evidence, anti-global warming when 97% of the world (not including the US) agrees and 99% of climatologists agree it is happening and is caused by man, the removal of critical thinking from classes, the removal of woman's rights, the prevention of "gay marriage" even though marriage has nothing to do with the Church anymore, and the list goes on...
But hey, Eastwood must be really really smart, after all he spent the entire RNC talking to a chair.

Wow, the only people that think Maher is not off his rocker are people on the far far left.
1) creationism is stupid and its as much as a fringe as Maher's audience. No one out side of that fringe group believes either.
2) consensus is not proof. 97% of the people used to think the earth was flat and the center of the universe. And they also thought sea monsters were real. Most of the planet also believes in gods and demons as well.. any proof of those?
3) no one wants to remove a woman's right to anything. get off the liberal talking points. The fringe left thinks its a talking point. the real world doesnt. Nothing is ever going to happen to abortion one way or another. get over it.
4)the removal of critical thinking from classes is a liberal problem, not a conservative one. Your teacher's unions want to keep out all competition for performance. They keep demanding tests be easier instead of firing bad teachers due to tenure. Perfect example is the FCAT. Too many kids were failing. So what did they do? Did they put more effort into teaching the kids? No, they retooled the grading scale so more kids would pass at current levels. Conservatives want to privatize schools and get rid of tenure which will increase competition among teachers and thus grades for students. proven to work 100% of the time, unlike the liberal way.
5) they are wrong on the gay marriage issue, no doubt. However, just like Abortion, it will be decided in the courts, not by politicians and it will never be re-overturned by politicians.. just like abortion. However, Obama was anti-gay marriage and ran on "family values" in 2008. He only recently switched his opinion because he is in big political trouble. Without that 4% or so LGBT vote, Romney would have a solid lead.
Eastwood has reduced mental cognition due to age. Its a natural progression of age. It doesnt make him any more or less smart than anyone else. Stuttering has nothing to do with intelligence. Only a person commenting from a point of ignorance would even think that.
I'll agree that the bulk of the speech did not go over well, but when he got to the points he was trying to make, he had a few zingers. In his defense, unlike everyone else there, he wasnt using a teleprompter, he was just winging the bulk of it. That takes guts on a big stage. Obama stumbles and bumbles like a madman without his teleprompter and he's half of Eastwood's age. Whats your excuse for that?
“But I’ve often said that if I had — I have two dogs — if I had two retarded children, I’d be a hero. And yet the dogs, which are pretty much the same thing. What? They’re sweet. They’re loving. They’re kind, but they don’t mentally advance at all. … Dogs are like retarded children.” — Bill Maher

The ONLY war on women going on in america right now is the war from the far left against any women that is not a liberal. The way they demonize Palin, Bachman, and their KIDS is beyond any reasonable person's acceptance. The left loves to demonize any conservative women. The "women's rights" they want are only the rights they agree with. How is that any better than the far right's views???
Both wings are nuts and should not be listened to. If you think Maher is intelligent enough to be taken seriously, then your on a wing and fall into that "should not be listened to" category. Period.

So apple is okay with most of the jury's ruling, but thinks Koh should go beyond the ruling and also ban Samsung's Tab as well? Why even have a jury then?
What is interesting to me is how low an opinion apple has of the american people. First they argue that people aren't smart enough to determine the difference between apple & samsung products. It's getting to the point that everything has to be idiot proof. How long before we have the world covered in soft material so no one bet's hurt? Seriously, if someone DID buy a samsung product thinking it was an apple product, what's the worst that could happen? They'd have to exchange it? It's not like once you walk out the store the product is yours for life. People exchange goods all the time, so even a moron has a safety net.
Second, when the president asked Steve Jobs what it would take to have apple move production of their products to the US, Jobs told him it would never happen. He said that Americans aren't smart enough to make it a cost effective move. Funny how there are plenty of other corporations that have electronics assembly plants in the US ad their product doesn't suffer. I think mostly it was a smokescreen because most companies with overseas manufacturing do so because then they're not subject to worker protections we have in the US, like minimum wage, health insurance, retirement, etc. But the fact that he said it shows how little he thinks of the very people he wants to buy his products.
It just baffles me how anyone can have such loyalty to a company that on one hand sits there and takes their money with a smile, and on the other hand calls them ignorant. Maybe I'll make my million printing shirts that say "I paid $500 to be called stupid and all I got was this lousy phone".

After amending their suit to include the SGSIII and the GNote, then requesting the hearing be moved up... now would be the perfect time for Lucy to reiterate her, "Are you smoking crack?" meme back to Apple.
I really hope these latest developments help knock the dust off those slowly turning gears in her brain.

I see why apple keep samsung busy in court. after the apple big victory. I went to my local sprint store to buy the galaxy s3. man, i am in love with this phone. I haven't put the phone down until bed time. I must tell you the s3 is great. my only problem sprint doesn't have LTE in my area. I think the s3 is not so a challenge for the iphone 4s, i think it's a bigger challenge to the upcoming iphone 5. this is just my opinion. if there is an iphone 5, it will have no LTE or it could be big trouble with samy.
