An update to iOS is on the way, according to a report that was published on Friday. The next build of Apple's mobile OS is version 7.1.2, and the software has been sent to Apple's carrier partners for testing. The release to consumers is expected to take place sometime in the next two weeks, and will include some bug fixes and security patches. iOS 7.1.2 will also improve iBeacon connectivity...

But I though apple's own iPhone is a marvel of it's own,it can't be beaten,there are no bugs,only in lagdroid.It's magic,impossible *sarcasm*

Yeah, iOS is the best - only needed to get to 7.1.2 before approaching stability. Although…, we will have to see if actual user experiences show a truly stable release. Better hurry up Apple, 'cause v. 8 (and no more support for v. 7) is just around the corner (September, 2014).

They all do? Apple made all their own phones, but I don't think they all get updated as you allude.
Not sure how, if half of them are always rebooting and force closing out.
Closed buggy system, all in house design, icrashos.

There you are, hating with that fanboy mentality like always. I still don't understand why you live and love to hate Apple, as you keep ignoring my questions directed toward you. Once again, just curious is all because I don't really know why people on this site come on here just to hate certain companies. There are many mature tech users here. Why can't you be like them? Just an honest question is all.

Stripped down version on time vs. full version later. Neither sound perfect, IMO.

Refresh my memory, how did the ON TIME (since that is soooooo important) ios7 update treat 4 & 4S users? Hm? Oh wait I remember! It broke their phones and forced them to get a new one! I know that because I made BANK off those poor souls who came in to upgrade their phone with me. Convinced half of them to go Android. "So, you're here today because apple broke your phone and won't do anything about it. Sure you want to stick with them? Let's talk Android or WP. You'll love it! If not bring it back."

Get that update out to me Cook, I love my timely goodies.

I don't think you know what the word "timely" means. "Timely" would've been at worst weeks after the huge glaring flaw was discovered (by an outside source, no less, gotta love that apple quality control") , not months after the fact.

Get lost man, bother someone else. I've nothing to discuss with you. Go find Arte.

Or what? You going to assault me and break into my home? I thought someone who wants so bad to be a grammar Nazi would appreciate having their errors pointed out.
16. bucky (Posts: 1997; Member since: 30 Sep 2009)
Even the noobs like roundhouse are following arte's footsteps. Don't worry dark.
Also, Roundhouse shouldn't be pointing anyone's errors out after that sentence he just put down.

See, the difference is I don't give a s***. If I want to, I can put together a grammatically perfect sentence, it's not hard.
See, the difference is dark likes to be an ass and correct people's grammar and spelling, when every other post he makes has errors.
See, the difference is, if you are going to insist on being Captain Grammar, you should probably have, bare minimum, a rudimentary understanding of...well...grammar.

Thank you. The new kids joining here don't even troll tastefully. They don't even know how to do it properly in the first place.

Apple is so good in so many things except their iMessage and iCloud. Wonder why.

First up, let me level with everyone here.. I have used 3 Android devices, 1 Windows device & 1 Android device that was hacked to make it run Ubuntu. I have never owned any apple product, whether it's an iPhone, an ipod or an iPad. My very limited experience with Apple is the few minutes I spend every week with my colleague's iPhone 5s in office.
But this sentence seems extremely disturbing to me.. " when an iOS device user
switches to a new platform without
disconnecting his number from Apple's
system, iMessage will intercept text
messages sent to the former iOS user, and
will not forward them to his new device."
I have never had this problem when switching Sims between my old Nokia Symbian phone to Android, between Android & Windows phone & even between several Android device brands/models.
This means only one thing - apple owns my number. I need permission from Apple to switch platforms or I need to inform them before hand. I thought only carriers like AT&T and Verizon owned numbers.
I really don't understand why the iPhone captures messages meant for me. Isn't this criminal?
I am not an apple troll & I have confessed that I don't own an iPhone. I know that Apple is called a walled garden which is seen by fans as a valid compromise for the tightly integrated app ecosystem it offers.
But this is unacceptable - plain n simple.

Yup, I have had to deal with this. Unless you deactivate the old SIM (which nobody ever does, it is not necessary) before changing devices, this happens. That was a fun 2 hours with support that ended with me saying "I don't know what else to tell you, this is only something apple can fix. Your best bet is to head to apple and go back to an iphone."
Which was the last thing she wanted to do, indicated by the tears of rage.
