This is real innovation unlike Samsuck that's always following Apple's footstep like a dog.

including copying siri ... apple should sue them
37. PhoneArenaUser (Posts: 5498; Member since: 05 Aug 2011)
Speech Interpretation and Recognition Interfaces existed before Apple's Siri, so...

Apple innovate sh*t. Almost all their stuff are made by other manufactures.
It's amazing how your weak minded got brain washed by Apple so easily.
This time Apple is following Samsung and stealing Android ideas for their iOS6.
"Voice Talk" by Vlingo existed in Galaxy S2 and S2 came out before iPhone 4S.

Apple had voice control on the 3GS dummy
50. MEeee (Posts: 304; Member since: 19 Oct 2011)
All other phones have voice control before any iPhones were made brainless sheep. "Voice Talk" released before "Siri" and we're talking about "Siri" dumbas*. I wonder did Apple came up first with pulldown notification bar or rectangular mobile devices? What do you all sheep think?
52. iphoneisthebest79 (Posts: 70; Member since: 23 May 2012)
Rectangular shape ... Big deal ... What are you talking about? Innovation? Apple start all that first .. Phones before iphone were just for calling and sending text messages and taking photos, apple change the world of smart phone when Nokia was the top of all phones including samsuck, the new era of phones start with iphone dummy.

On June 11th Apple will introduce iOS 6... and show why 2012 is like 2007.
16. ilia1986 (unregistered)
Out of curiosity - I will. Doesn't mean that I'll appreciate it.

Your enemy? You have some major issues.

It is just a phrase, have you not heard that before ? :)

They are everyone’s enemy for suppressing innovation and consumer choice via the courts.
They fought with IBM decades ago, opposing a monopoly of the PC market, seen as the underdog they received support via open source in the IT community. However they have lost sight of their past and became the Goliath, oppressing consumer choice and user interaction.
They only offer one phone, one OS, everything else is candy wrapping to dazzle the masses. The hypnotic monotone ads have the undertones of wartime propaganda campaigns to rally the masses to believe it is good, it is your best interests.
Apple are now lagging in the field, with any luck they will release a new iPhone5 with a 4” screen that will bring them up to the 2010 industry standard for android midrange phones.
They need to revamp iOS and the Appstore but I believe it will be met with great resistance it will be a repeat of the “New Coke” campaign CocaCola had in 1985, but would Apple bend to consumer resistance and remain the same, provide support dual platforms for new and old iOS interface or will it be the end of them if they persevere with a radical change.

You have some major issues as well. It's simple buy a different phone if you don't like it bothered plenty of choices out there.
58. tedkord (Posts: 6710; Member since: 17 Jun 2009)
Follow your own advice. Stop popping up in Android stories making negative comments. It's simple, just buy an iPhone.

If u don't like Chevy buy ford, or Chrysler. If u don't like coke buy Pepsi, or Shasta. If u don't like rap country, RnB, or classical. If u don't like baseball there's football, hockey, basketball, or tennis get the picture. How is apple the enemy when they started the cell phone craze? If it weren't for apple, and iOS android wouldn't even exist. They've copied iOS as much as possible, and added their own extras to the recipe that's all they've done. If u don't like iOS then there's android windows phone blackberry os, and Symbian. Pick one and shut the heck up.

You know, why do people hate the iPhone so much? It's a PHONE... That's all it is, all it will ever be. Android (in a mobile device) is a phone - that's all it is, and all it will ever be. It's not the device that stirs up trouble, it's the ignorance from it's users. I am a current Android user, but soon to switch to iOS. It's not the fact I hate Android, it's just not for me. The simplicity is what makes me lean towards the iPhone, not the fact IT'S AN IPHONE. Just like the Ford Mustang in the early 60s, Apple could've never expected the rave they have recieved from users. iPhone users have made the phone a pop culture icon. Yes, the iPhone has caused a uncontrollable contoversy between mobile device users, but again, that is it's users, not the phone itself. Why can't we all except the differences presented in both platforms, and move on? Our generation is in a very sad stance because we get on websites and forums and argue about stupid stuff like pixel density. Why? Seriously... Why does it matter?
18. PhoneArenaUser (Posts: 5498; Member since: 05 Aug 2011)
"...stupid stuff like pixel density..."
Yes, I agree it isn't the most significant thing in the humans life, but in technology life pixel density isn't 'stupid stuff'. So, please don't try to mix point of humans life and technical interests.
"iPhone users have made the phone a pop culture icon."
Really well said, you just have expressed my minds. :)
+1 for you. :)
27. Quezdagreat (Posts: 428; Member since: 05 Apr 2012)
So you are saying you don't like iPhones because its a pop culture icon? Now that's stupid
53. Quezdagreat (Posts: 428; Member since: 05 Apr 2012)
You could have fooled me, im curious what did apple do to you personally
54. PhoneArenaUser (Posts: 5498; Member since: 05 Aug 2011)
I hate Apple as a company because of Apples politics and morality. How they achieve their objectives and goals.
65. gallitoking (Posts: 4704; Member since: 17 May 2011)

Appreciate your sentiments.......
Your claims of Iphone bringing a change in mobile landscape is true....Prior to Iphone mobile technology was not optimized to its true potential like today......In a way Iphone sped up the things.....But ever since technology has taken huge strides and each quarter the user is presented with a mobile device better than the former....
But if you analyse an iphone most of its technological brilliance is still far behind the competition.....But apple need not care for that cause it anyways rakes in millions of dollar (actually billions) every year even without bringing much to the platter.....
Apple as a brand is too big to contain.....even for a giant like Google.....
Had a product like iphone been released even by Samsung it wouldn't have registered even half the sales figure of apple......Apple is not just a brand anymore...It has become a status symbol for many posh people...
But of late Android is fast becoming the status of technology........
Android is transforming the mobile world faster than windows changed the desktop experience....
Android opened the gates to all while apple kept is clientele closed......only those willing to shell out astronomical cash are allowed to join the apple club whereas android goes very easy on money.....
Though i perfecly agree with your comment but our world is hardly that balanced....The mud slinging is nasty.....(must see how people flare up at things as simple as net usage statistics).......but it is this divide that fuels the growth of technology.......
Though the world wars claimed many lives but most of technological breakthroughs happened in those two sad times.......
We are at war Nikonmorous.......
But have some popcorn and enjoy as each time apple and android wield their swords amazing innovation lands on our hands....

An ignorant post hidden by a transparent attempt to be even handed.
iPhone is far behind the competition? In which way? It has one of the best screens and cameras on the market. Great accessibility options for disabled, best on the market language support, dual core processors that's actually faster than other phones thanks to being optimized OS.
Apple before the iPhone was a fringe company with less than 5% of pc sales. iPhone due to being revolutionary and leap frogging the competition made Apple a house hold name and wildly successful.
63. Nikonmorous (Posts: 16; Member since: 16 Oct 2011)
Unfortunately, the Apple iPhone is indeed behind. Without a doubt, it's a marvolous device, but standards are higher these days. In 2007, a 3.5 was considered monsterous, but now it's kinda puiny. Now, I'm not dogging the iPhone because of it's screen size, it's truly a great device, no matter what people say. Hopefully Apple will treat us to something great this October, and I believe they will.

Why don't they just combine all these stores into one app? jw
15. Allen3697 (Posts: 86; Member since: 26 Mar 2012)
How about they just refresh the look of iOS 6 all together? ......
17. bbblader (Posts: 588; Member since: 24 Oct 2011)

The difference between Apple fanboys and Android fanboys?
Nothing! All of you need to kiss up and make up and become friends with one another! All of you need each other to poke one another in the behind once you all realize. Just realize!
