Funny. I'm still wondering why the 'supposed-to-be' APOLOGY statement is under the "Advertisement" header!
Shouldn't it be under "Notification"...or plain old "Apology"???

I understand what you mean.
But still, if Apple cared, at least, they can re-format the not-so-apologetic statement and i'm sure they have that authority since they bought it. They can move the 'Advertisement' somewhere to the top right or left or wherever, and print a proper well spaced apology...

Seems like they're not too keen or don't give a damn...and that's when things start to change. They fall.

you didnt expect apple to act like a spoiled brat? we knew they would, and they certainly tried to spin the first "appology".

I say the judge goes back and forces them to write "were sorry to samsung and android for the misunderstanding" at the top of their next attempt. lol

Japanese companies' ceo's/presidents are expected to bow and make a public apology if something goes wrong from their company.
It's not embarrassing or humiliating. It shows humility. Something that a**hole sitting on top of Apple doesn't get

Even if they believe they don't need to apologise, a simple act of humility rather than the games they're playing will be more beneficial for their image. I think they feel that apologising will damage their image, but not apologising and trying to squirm out of it is probably causing a lot more damage.

People would have forgotten about this story by now if they'd made a simple apology when they were supposed to. All Apple have managed to do is create a much bigger, much more publicised story.

Well that's not surprising. If they never apologize to customers for the crap they do with their iPhones, but rather say things like "It's normal" or "You're using it wrong," how much more for their rival?
