I guess Apple will do much worse than at the same time last year. Now Andoid is much better: Droid DNA, Note 2, One X+, Nexus 7, Nexus 10... Lumia 920 can also take some market share from iPhone with great hardware and lower price.
And did I mention Nexus 4?

I admit Android is dominating....But apple brings the new PowerVR G6630 in their product the competition will rise again...
I hope Android will bring something bigger...:)

I trust Android more in the "bigger" department more so than Apple. Let's face it. We will get a iPhone 5s next year with a spec bump and no change to the display or body.
The only way Apple can change the resolution and screen size again without pi$$ing off developers is to completely redesign iOS to support multiple resolutions without redesigning every singe app again. Look at the DNA. Except for a few games that don't work correctly a large number of apps work fine right out the box by filling the entire display. Next year Android superphones will have the same resolution and Apple is left with their small second rate Retina display.

IPhone 5s is rumored to come out this year to China I think December so yeah its not an upgrade just an improvement because iPhone 5 was an epic fail and there stocks is showing it

I like holding onto some fixed resolution though...because too much resolution makes os fragmented...this is main prob that android devs are facing...

As super crazy and idiotic as this sounds if I was Apple I would make a 5 inch 1920x1080p iOS skinned Android phone and sell it for no less than $400 on contact/$849 off for a 16gig model. If Apple had a Android iPhone it would destroy Samsung while making over $600 profit on each phone sold.
I don't see it hurting Apple if they have their bread and butter 4" iPhone and then a more expensive 5" Android model to make up the difference in App profits. I know it's crazy and stupid to many people but Samsung would no longer be the king off Android. To actually plant a mole phone to take numbers away from your competitors would turn Android OEM's upside down.
I guess it's called fighting fire with fire.

You mean a better start for most of the other suppliers since Samsung are breaking ties with Apple. As soon as their contract ends, their resource will be cut shop. They build the 2012 devices base without any Samsung parts. Yeah right, they have to buy Samsung parts through a third party since they wont go direct any longer. So more work for ASE, TMSE, and etc. Since Samsung will have part in assisting the new Apple products. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets make the articles have more realistic facts would you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
