the browser is a big factor too and Safari might close that gap a little even as good as HTC's browser is. what's the best performing browser you can get on an Android device these days anyway?

dude. even 3G GSM devices don't get anywhere near 7mbps. xD more like 2-3mbps. 7mbps is more like what AT&T's HSPA+ gets.

Dude taco50 I never said that, WiMAX was the first 4G service ever in the U.S. Until Verizon dropped 4G LTE, Sprint's 4G WiMAX was the best. So the HTC Evo 4G when it came out was indeed a truly revolutionary device. I have good tech on my HTC Evo 3D right now with 4G WiMAX. I average where I live 6-11 Mbps. I am very happy with that. I would like to see your iPhone 4 even come close to that! lol Ohh & nice try to put words in my mouth. taco50 keep fighting the good fight! lol

android does have more market share,does do more and usually does make the iphone outdated spec wise pretty quicly...

yeah i'm interested. the iPhone launch is a big deal, to say otherwise would be foolish because Apple is still a major acting force in the world so i'll be looking forward to seeing what Apple brings to the table however from what we know it won't be able to topple the might of the Droid Bionic and Galaxy S II variants.

What I don't get is why iPhone fans think they have exclusive rights to all iOS/iPhone/Apple articles!

I also don't get why if an Android fan makes any kind of comment, positive or negative, in an Apple article, why they instantly form an angry-villagers type mob, with sticks, torches and pitch forks.

And I really don't get is why iPhone fans always assume Android fans have never used an iOS device. Many of the Android fans here actually use, own and even troubleshoot iOS devices for many iOS fans. Most people here like all technology and don't feel the need to limit themselves to commenting only on the phones they own. When you have knowledge or experiences with many devices or OSs, you can comment in any with confidence because you know your stuff. But many iOS fans seem to only know iOS, so they often seem to be your typical rabid fanboys to the rest of us. Don't get me wrong, not saying all iOS fans are fanboys, but these seem to be the loudest voices.

If someone says android has navigation so I prefer it I have no problem with that. Saying stuff like

iOS hasn't changed since 2007

Apple users are sheep

iPhone isn't a smartphone

iOS is android 1.5

Apple is evil and I hope they're banned from the whole world

rooting is the Android equivalent of jailbreaking. if you're going to go on some big rant like that don't look stupid doing it and know your facts. even not rooted you can just side-load whatever apps you can find on the web, it's not even hard and also the Android Market has a pretty good amount of nice, premium apps these days. i even have a friend with an iPhone that wishes he could get an app or two on my Droid 3 that he can't get.
