Could be. Then that would mean that profits per line of business within Samsung should not be counted as one, but as individual businesses.

Simply because they are the biggest company right now.

As to why some people would contradict that fact, I don't know, lol. Well I actually do. They're bitter and hateful of Apple's unstoppable success, that's why. Some people just find it hard to accept the truth.

Why Apple market value is so high, they don't owned large buildings like walmart or owned large manufacturing plants like Samsung.

What is the Market value mean? May be a marketing value.

All Apple done was bought the parts and components, assembled in China. No Jobs was created in America only sale reps at Apple Stores.

No jobs were created in America? Only sales reps at Apple Stores? Aren't those jobs in America? Lol. How about their offices in Cupertino where they house thousands of employees? Apple is also building an even bigger base to house thousands more of employees.

You're obviously not happy with this news because you just don't like Apple. Well too bad for you :)

Apple employes about 14,000 people here in the US and more than 27,000 overseas. At least thats the last count from a couple years back.

It would be nice if Apple and other companies would build a plant or two here. Or at the very least contract another company to do it. Create a few jobs here that doesn't require a degree. It seems that we've made the cost of a college education too high for the average person, then we exported all the decent paying jobs that the average person could do. Kinda messed up how business works in the US.

For years and years and years, fanboys have had this elitist mentality to them. They felt special because they were part of a very exclusive group of people that were a)never wrong, b) smarter than everyone and c)non conformist. I wonder what they think now.

Apple is NOT the worlds "largest company."

That statement implies size. Apple currently has the highest evaluation = what the stock market believes the company is worth money wise and how it will perform in the future = nothing other than speculation on future performance. That has NOTHING TO DO WITH SIZE of the company.

It's pretty clear in the article they're talking about stock value. I know this is a hard one to swallow for you. Get used to it though. It will only get worse for you fandroids when the iPhone 5 comes out.

all i know is that they will get more market value if apple wins more lawsuits
and that's what they are doing right now =]

The Market Value is an appraisal of a companies value. Lots of things that may or may not be public knowledge (even to major stockholders) affect this value. These numbers are easily manipulated and can not always, but usually are, true signs of a companies value, and bottom line

See the title of the article
"Apple is now officially the world's largest public company"

"largest"

yeah, I know I have to spell things like that out for a zealot apple fan.

thats what i read everytime a new iphones about to come out...no ones gonna buy android, they are doomed etc etc yet every single time nothing happens to android they just seem to be eating up more market share...seriously there will always be people who will only buy iphones ie you and there will always be people who by androids...why cant you just be happy with that or do you want every last human being with a brain left also to buy iphones....serious point its impressive how big apple have become though i got to give them that. but as people say its easy to get to the top but its harder to maintain it but lol i guess they got there tactics which is sue anyone that competes with us

Windows was the most popular and they made a lot of money. It does not mean it was the best operating system or is.

Overhyped? That's an old excuse. Maybe hype would work for a couple of years, but it's been 5 years now. Don't you think consumers would've caught up with Apple if it's nothing more than hype?

Apple products work well, and those who use it are happy with it, period.

Why does the hype get you? Why are you bothered other people like Apple? You DON'T have to buy it if you don't like it.

Again. Fandroids are displaying their bitterness and jealousy over Apple's success. I really enjoy reading their excuses, hahahaha. What a bunch of sore losers :)

Just because we weren't brainwashed by "the Jobs" like all you fanboys doesn't mean we are bitter, I believe the word is smarter.

Just because we prefer Apple products over whatever you prefer, it does not mean that we're brainwashed. That's one messed-up ideology. If you are not bitter, then why do you try so hard to pull Apple down when they're getting so much success? Why not just let Apple be? It's because you are bitter :)

Yeah buddy....why the efff would I pay $600-700+ for an inferior iPhone (off-contract)....when I can get a crapload of other far-superior phones for almost half that price...
It's damn obvious.....you're paying a retarded premium just for a ghetto 'fashion statement'....lmfffaaoo
Like guess what....I paid only $250 for an off-contract 6-inch BRICK phone....far better than paying 2X more for an inferior product..

Only thing Apple products are good for are selling them on ebay/craigslist for rigged profits....esp the iphones...
I get any random 16gb model for $200....then easily sell it for double that price....cuz so many suckers are that desperate to pounce on it.................

Well if you don't think that the iphone is worth it, it does not mean that we don't think that it isn't as well. What's superior to you, may not be superior to us, vice versa.

Ghetto? Last time I checked, Apple Stores are ONLY located at high end locations. While android, winmo, and symbian phones are being sold in ghetto areas :)

Also, read your post. Nothing gets more ghetto than that ;)

Last time I checked, no Apple Store ever sold galaxy devices. Which Apple Store did you go to? Lol.
