What's wrong with Android wear watches like the moto 360?

I hope it is AMOLED and I am sure it will be. I have the Gear Live and I think the always on display is very impressive. A light sensor which would adjust the watch brightness automatically would make it almost perfect.

I just got mine yesterday. I love my Gear Live. I killed my phone before I killed the watch with all the voice commands and searches.

I'd like to see what Apple contributes here. All those concepts are ugly as hell.

The moto 360 is really nice, not to mention the Arrow smart watch is really nice as well.

I still don't quite understand how any of these devices will benefit my life in any way... :-/ People have tried to argue it's plus points with me but every time i just say...'but i can just do that on my phone'...Ok, as a quick glance to see what notification you've just recieved or to adjust the playback volume of your music, thats fine, but this device is going to cost hundreds of your hard earned...personally, if it doesn't act as some kind of teleportation device i think i'm going to be quite dissapointed with the functionality, no matter how cool it looks..

I just got my Gear Live yesterday. I was doing all kinds of things on it. I could use my voice to send a text message or reply to a hangout. Look up information using my voice. Check my heart rate or how many steps I took. This is done using your voice. You don't have to even touch the watch. Granted you can do this on your phone as well, but then you have to pull out your phone login and check out what's going on.
For me I think it added more convenience and made it a little faster. Each to his own I guess.
