I work for Sprint. It seems that more people want the Iphone 4s. You can always tell what phone they will ask for too...it's too easy to see an Iphone customer from a mile away. The EVO 4g is still a great great phone, but almost everyone was left with a very sour taste in their mouths after HTC has botched so many updates and had lots of battery and HTC sense issues with 2.3. Because android isn't very battery friendly for new smartphone buyers...they switch to Android. This will be a different story after a year with Ice Cream Sandwich. I know that more people have Android phones....but it's still the age of the iphone. Once ICS catches on it will be a different story.

I routinuely check the no-contract android handsets for sale at walmart, best buys, etc and the under-$150 android devices are just flying out the door. The device that went for $150 for Str8 Talk is now going for $130 and they are throwing either a free case or 3 movies -- unlimited 3G data, talk, text, etc all for $45 a month. These lower android handsets help explain why new customers choose andorid over apple -- lower cost and good deals.
