Apple iPhone 5S and Apple iPhone 5C both to be released October 25th

0. phoneArena 12 Aug 2013, 23:30 posted on

Just recently, we passed along to you a report that the Apple iPhone 5S and the low-cost Apple iPhone 5C would both be introduced by Apple on September 10th; and while that is important to know, it is only half of the story. The actual release date is the more important half of the equation. Knowing the release date gives those early adopters an idea when they will have to call in sick to work...

I really don't see a 6 week wait to be accurate. I bet if it's announced September 10th it will just like the last 5 releases be within 2 weeks.

If the iP5S is delayed for 5 weeks, things are pretty grim in Apple-land. Maybe Timmy needs to re-focus his efforts at getting the supply chain working.

Lets hope its not just minor improvements over current iPhone.i am Hoping something new
i assume one thing will be finger print scanner hope they will put it in to good use
and ios 7 with higher amount of RAM (multitasking)
and a 4"3 inch screen and new exterior but that not likely going to happen, they always keep their design at least two years.

S editions are model refreshes. Therefore, no 4.3 inch screen size. SoC (CPU & GPU) upgrades, more RAM, maybe fingerprint scanner. And that is it.

Such a fanboy way of looking at things and even worse from a supposedly unbiased website "when they will have to call in sick to work, and make excuses to friends and family so that they can wait on line for a few days to buy the next iteration of Apple's smartphone."

Who the eff does that for a iPhone SsSsSsSs or effing S... Same ol S different year.. Ya No oneS

and each year less and less show up... till someday poof, none...

Apple with Jobs and the original 1Phone wonder was a hit, a huge hit, no doubt, hail to 1Phone1 (seriously for a couple years 1Phone was totally original and awesome) but now, not so much. S models are a joke and every other year non S models are last years Android. iOS7 looks like a bad Android theme that you try and uninstall within minutes. Jobs would NEVER of signed off on iOS7 or a plastic siri-less C version.

Me mad, no iLaugh at the iFans who can't see the NARROW of vision of Apple's eye

I just marked October 25, 2014 on my calendar.

Yes, it will take that long for them to catch up to competition.

Gotta keep that whip crackin' at the ole Chinese Gulag for at least 6 more weeks so that the chumps, ahem...I mean krAPPLE consumers, can enjoy the distinctive honor of sleeping on the sidewalk for days in order to pay $700+ for another MID-RANGER.

Prototype images being reported as the new iPhone, lol.

If people want to wait in line for weeks like this, it's really their life they are wasting, free world. Personally, I'd just wait a day or two and spend those weeks doing better things.

Those people are crazy and dumb who wants too spend the night outside or in a train station? I'd rather wait a few weeks before buying the phone and wait for the glitches too pass by first

Before you break out your sleeping bag, remember that the first rumor about the iPhone5S was that it was going to go into production in December. 2012.

The iPhone5 was announced on September 12th and it was in stores on the 21st. A six week delay for fanbois to get their hands on a handset would be very un-Apple.

I suspect the new delay rumor invalidates the earlier announcemnt rumor.

This is good news. Yes, the delay from the probable announcement date kinda sucks. But I think that Apple may have learned their lesson after last year when stores and retailers were shorted shipments of the iPhone 5. Then again, with a short supply comes high demand and more guaranteed sales. I could just be spouting some half-baked malarkey.
