You're becoming as bad as Taco, just for a different OS.

Gee, thanks. I've heard so many fantastic myths about him - he's hardly ever on here. It would be nice to be graced by his presence.

no.. no it wouldnt. Though I do miss my arch nemesis of stupidity supreme... I dont miss him enough to actually want to deal with him again.
Dont be a crazed fanatic. Its a dead end road. Then again, it's mildly entertaining for a bit.

We all kinda mis them all, The-Miz Cmpunk Taco Galli and Republican...?

Galli is still around, but just not as active.

Being compared to Taco is not a good thing.......
31. darkkjedii (Posts: 9305; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
I second that. The idiocy, and lack of respect he shows will have him banned soon.

They always did and I hope they continue to be making the same designs over and over again, and the iOS 7 should be like the iOS6.

even on android youre supposed to close out apps one at a time. especially if your phone is giving you random com. force closes... the processes and resources by apps are shared and by closing out all apps youre making youre phone work harder and making it harder on your self to diagnose why you have to close out the apps in the first place... i could go in depth... but why...
29. remixfa (Posts: 13902; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
bah, you can hold down the backbutton to kill them as you get out of the apps. If your on ICS or JB you can go into the developer options and set up how many background apps it will leave open at any given time.. if any at all.

Next week there'll be a report stating the opposite. Upto users...

Wow someone call the grammar/spelling police to take this person away. It is so much easier to take someone's point seriously when it is typed in such a manner that it shows a decent level of education. I love my Android too but dear God please learn the English language.......

Impact of iOS' dated UI is being felt. Too many better alternatives out there. Even RIM may have a better alternative in BB10.

It is about time people start to admit that the iPhone is not the most perfect device on the planet and never has any problems.
7. darkkjedii (Posts: 9305; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
It sure isn't perfect not by a long shot, but its a very good device overall. It ticks me off sometimes though.

But you will never give it up cuz you have too much money invested in LooneyTunes so you settle and just graze along with the other mindless peeps'

That's really funny!! For a second there I thought you were talking to me.
I don't think he's coming back soon, he's probably huddled in a corner somewhere in his iFetal position crying his eyes out. Or, he broke down and went to AT&T to upgrade his phone to an Android device.
34. darkkjedii (Posts: 9305; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
Fallout he's some one the I look over now. Not with my time to chat with. Several intelligent android users that I enjoy chatting with, he's not one. So he's ignored.

And yet, you felt compelled to comment. Now perhaps, as you wrote above, 'You should re type your whole paragraph... Horrible grammar.' And, horrible syntax. Typed on your small iPhone, of course.
36. Fallout09 (Posts: 409; Member since: 17 Oct 2011)
Obviously that is not the case here. I am seeing a follow up post in my thead.

1.'the iPhone 5 has fallen behind as it seems the phone cannot catch up'
Answer: at Apple's rate it will be 2025 before they catch up - thanks to their miCro-miNi upgrades.
2.'The ranking below gives no explanation of the technique used to rank the devices'
Answer: quite simple explanation - the survey was not done in Cupertino or Starbucks, it was a real untainted, unaltered and unbiAsed survey.
The freakin' truth must be hurting Apple in the iBallz - Happy New Year - Android rules!!♚
9. Fallout09 (Posts: 409; Member since: 17 Oct 2011)
Survey was not completed in Starbucks. Classic.

not surprised but just wait until the Motorola Nexus phone comes out !
13. Nathan_ingx (Posts: 2964; Member since: 07 Mar 2012)
I don't see any change in iPhone 6 unless they have a complete overhaul.
And before any ifans tail me with comments about how not changing the basic look of the iPhone helped gained success, don't bother.

LG Optimus G is one awesome and sadly ignored product.
Probably the best widely available phone on Earth right Now
16. Ninetysix (Posts: 1072; Member since: 08 Oct 2012)
Except it still ships with ICS. With LG, you don't know when you're going to get your OS update (if ever). Judging from their past OS update release.
18. BadAssAbe (Posts: 434; Member since: 22 Apr 2011)
i love the LG Optimus G,
Fast, powerful, Thin, looks great, small bezel, great camera and great screen

It's marketing again, SS strategy is spending a lot of money pushing 1 brand: GALAXY. And it proves successful.
May be LG will do something similar?

I think it is hilarious that people go crazy over iOS and Android. There is good and bad with both OS's. If you like the iPhone, get the iPhone. If you like Android, get an Android device. I own both. I love Apple hardware, and you can't deny it is well made and an attractive device. But Apple needs to step up their game with iOS. It is a little stale. Android is great also, especially on my Galaxy S3, and I love the Google ecosystem. But it is not for everyone! Pick what works for you and calm down.
23. remixfa (Posts: 13902; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
my predictions about apples fall are still slowly coming true. Since not much will change with the i5s/i5 "mini" as far as form, they need to really bring out some big guns with iOS7 or they are going to be on a near permanent down trend. iOS will have their very loyal followers for a good time to come, but the regular masses will continue to trend away to Android and to WP8 as it picks up steam in the next year or so... and yes, it will pick up quite a bit of steam.
39. androiddownsouth (Posts: 598; Member since: 02 May 2012)
I agree. WP8 will pick up steam especially as more apps become available to it. It is a great device for enterprise, and I do believe it will be the final coffin nail for BB. BB is just too little too late imo. And if you look at it objectively, Apple is walking a very similar road that BB did that led it to where it is today in the smartphone market. BB just made small, incremental upgrades, expecting it's loyal customers to continue to buy it simply b/c it is BB. Apple is doing the exact same thing, and unless they change course, it doesn't look good.
I don't want Apple to fail. I want us to all have choices for smartphones. I do think that Android is the best, but I realize that we all have different tastes and desires in our electrionics, and I will always want us to have choices. These are just my observations, nothing more.
40. remixfa (Posts: 13902; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
iOS wont fall. It has a loyal membership that will continue to repurchase the newest iDevice yearly like clockwork. But the vast majority, the "common user" will move on to other choices. Yea, Apple has been walking RIM's line for quite some time. Most people havent realized it. I made that same connection probably 2 years ago.. lol.
You cant stay on top if you cant stay ahead of the curve. And with the curve so rapidly changing in the mobile environment its a testament to the mind power of their brand that they havent already fallen into obscurity with the "me too" nature of the last few big updates. No innovation, just copying and litigation.
42. phonemirer (Posts: 111; Member since: 07 Dec 2012)
I dont want anything to die too, but i hope bb wont sell bb10 for a great price, because ppl thougth that android was far better 4 the same price

The all-plastic, pre-sale broken and cracked-around-the-camera asian phone against cutting edge, aluminium frame and glass. Yeah, right, PA. Another lemon :)))
27. Tsepz_GP (Posts: 664; Member since: 12 Apr 2012)
Wow! That's a big shocker. Isn't this the very thing many iOS fans often used to defend their beloved OS? The consumer ratings? Now that the people have spoken and chosen Android it will be interesting where the iOS fans will move the yard stick to next. :)

You can make your point and/or offer opinion in a non-condescending way, or as some may suggest mature way.

You ever sit to think, he might just want a classy device that works.
41. lolioslol (banned) (Posts: 182; Member since: 10 Dec 2012)
I'm shocked! I mean, sure it scratches easily, the finish rubs off, the camera is flawed, the frame can bend, maps WILL get you lost, apps still have not been rescaled, has a proprietary new cable making your old docks useless unless you shell out $30 per adapter, comes damaged or defective out of the box, and the buttons can stop working, but it's an IPHONE! What's not to love?
50. darkkjedii (Posts: 9305; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
I'm shocked that the galaxy s3 scratched, cracked around the camera, and along the sides, has a flawed camera the exhibits purple haze and can't text a video without having to limit for mms which makes it so grainy u can't even see it, breaks easily, pictures have the same black bars above, and below that the iPhone has, also comes damaged or defective out of the box with cracks between the camera and speaker housing, had non responsive home buttons on a few models, has bluetooth incompatibility issues in the form of the speak to text not working with some Bluetooth models, and BRICKS AFTER 90 DAYS which causes IT to stop working, but it's a GS3! What's not to love?
54. opensourceftw (banned) (Posts: 148; Member since: 01 Jan 2013)
LMAO, nice try, I have not experienced any of that nor have I heard of any of those flaws except the cracking on the first run of S3's (which Samsung replaced, free of charge) and the brick bug (which again, they have patched and replaced the affected models). Also, considering...whatever the hell you call that^^^ clusterf*ck of letters and the longest run on sentence in history, the fact that you have the audacity to criticize anyone's grammar is hilarious.
49. darkkjedii (Posts: 9305; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
It's time for apple to take this already top notch device, and reinvent it. A facelift for iOS wouldn't hurt, it's not that iOS is bad cuz it's not its an excellent OS, but the look and feel of the OS has gotten long in the tooth. The design of the iPhone 5 although very beautiful, and elegant is the third iteration of the redesign, apple this needs to change. I think the worse thing apple can do (and will do) is make the 5S. They need to scrap the design, and the numbering system, re envision iOS, and come out with a new design or at least a different model. I feel that android has made more dramatic strides in the time it's been around than apple has in that same time period, apple had huge success with this great device and unfortunately rested on their laurels...big mistake. I think maps, notifications, increasing the screen size, and the awesome new capabilities of Siri show that apple has taken notice, and I expect big changes in 2013.
51. androiddownsouth (Posts: 598; Member since: 02 May 2012)
If Apple expects to keep customers other than their core devoted customers, they had better come up with something big in 2013. Android is evolving too fast and WP8 looks very promising. If things fall right for WP8 it could be a serious threat to both of them. I just don't see a BB recovery coming, but I won't etch that in stone until I get my hands on the phones and play with them some.
Apple needs to change their arrogant attitude, get rid of all the lawsuits, and ball out by making something really awesome, all of which they are very capable of doing. Only time will tell if they are willing to do those things though.

Go Moto! Even though they are p!ss poor updating phones in the UK, they make great phones but need to stop being carrier exclusives
