As a target mobile(owned by radioshack) sales manager this really grinds my f$cking gears. We weren't even allowed to take verizon preorders despite a 45 minute long district conference explaining we would be doing so. Hours after the conference we have a big update on our systems saying no to preorders on verizon iphone5. But radioshack, can.

Well they will be definitely open at 8am for Iphone5 launch (some greedy store managers will be open at 7am) this way they can steal some AT&T customers across the street from them (before AT&T opens @ 8am)

Not only that RadioShack is telling their employees whore themselves on social networks, they got them cold calling customers (who never gave permission to be called in the 1st place) informing them that they will have the Iphone 5 to drum up more business.

In addition to this they have to push AppleCare+ with every sale and must have at least $35 in accessories tied into the sale, or face the firing squad for not meeting sales quotas for the Iphone 5.

And now that Radioshack cut their commission spiffs down to almost more than half, It will be a rat race between associates to make sales, so expect them to be rushing thru the sale so they can get onto the next.

I preordered an IPHONE5 on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m. (I couldn't go on Friday because of work) at Target Mobile which is owned by Radio Shack. Did my preorder come on Sept. 21....Excuse is Radio Shack didn't buy enough, not that they ran out. No wonder why this company is in dire financial straits. Can't even do the biggest release of the year right!!!!!
