Why are you guys doing these kinds of stuff? I mean only serious fanboy sites do that (on both android and apple side ) I means isn't that counterproductive? You would be getting a unit for review anytime soon and you are directly getting opinions from other Sites? Honestly not a smart move

I Know you guys work and and under lots of pressure sometimes, but I also thing giving into the competitors opinions over certain things you do may not be a nice approach, I've seen many pages doing that lately so its not only PA but I think some of this info is meant to stay on the respective sites . Sorry if I sounded too rude

Alright, i say here and now - the next iPAD mini will kill the big brother.

Now i'm starting to think Apple deliberately toned down on screen and processor here to avoid total cannibalization

the app ecosystem argument is crap. Yay, you get 250k apps for your ipad. You get 700k apps for your Nexus7. Add that to a higher res screen, much better OS, Google Now, Google Maps, stronger hardware, and still a fantastic battery.

Apple fans think the ipad is the best. For anyone without a dog in the fight, the mini ipad does not measure up in any way.

^This.

It's beyond me that those so called tech journalists are missing the fact that Nexus 7 actually trumps iPad mini in the app department.
Android phone apps LOOK JUST FINE ON 7 INCH SCREEN.

shyt, I can force apps to flip to tablet mode on my phone for extra functionality.

iOS people have no idea what they are missing and are happy in their ignorance.

Apple - you need a specialized app for that
Android - 1 app to rule all sizes.

its not that hard to understand.

I love how all of these sites make reference to a device that is $130 cheaper. Seriously? The N7 and mini are in two different leagues at those prices. Yet the N7 holds its own with a better resolution, better footprint, and the power of the android OS. Everyday iOS falls further behind, and Google's content catches up.. soon there will be no difference in content/apps.

And what does that tell you? That the majority of the first impressions given are completely biased. Silly.

Wow victor, you based this entire story off of the opinions of well known Apple fanboys and biased websites. Way to destroy all of Michael's and others hard work to make sure pa is an unbiased offer, with one pointless article. Would it have been that hard to find opinions from some neutral parties? You know, like you're supposed to.

God forbid you do you job properly.

Yeah, my bad, how could I possibly forget the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, TheVerge and so on were among the most avid Apple fanbois.

Congratulations!!! A whopping 30% of your sources are borderline. I'll give you verge, but as far as wsj and bloomberg, its not the publication, its the author of the review.

Hence why most newspapers had a little sentence at the of most articles that says something along the lines of this is based off of the opinion of the author and not of the publication co. itself.

Tim cook could take a crap, slap an Apple logo on it, and mossberg would go gaga.

If it had been more evenly split, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

pic #5 says

"My only complaints were that it's a tad too wide to fit in most of my pockets"

How do you fit a 7.9 inch tablet in your pockets????

The thing is that iProducts will always run smooth as iOS is not as heavy as Android, therefore people will say iProducts never lag. Since Android is extremely mainstream nowadays issues arrive in various products and when people post these problems online on forums then apple fanboys say these "issues" exist on ALL android devices. Come on even PA gave the Nexus7 a 9/10. What more evidence do apple fanboys want, if the sight that they follow(referring to apple fans on THIS site) is praising this device?

In short lag is FINISHED with jellybean, unless ofcourse you carelessly use your phone. That way even iOS lags.

Yesterday's Technology at Day Before Yesterday's price. Lets not talk about smoothness as all smoothness is lost when none has to do 5 finger smooch of screen very frequently for every switch.

The reviewers that have criticized many Android tablets for not having an ultra high resolution display, now praise a sub HD overpriced iPad which practically equals a shrunk iPad 2 (19 months old device). Have all these people been caught in the reality distortion field?

They say the display is disapponting but even though they are amazed by the smaller iPad 2 with narrower side bezels and a better camera.

Why all the Apple hate? Who really gives a damn at the end of the day other than you? If you don't like it, don't buy it.

That is just what fandroids on this site do. They go on every Apple article and talk about the Nexus 7 or the Nexus 4. iSheep use to hold the title for being the most annoying fanboys, but fandroids have surpassed them. I can't even read an apple article without seeing "MY NEXUZ 7, CHEAPER, CUSTOMIZATIONZ, DUM APPLZ FANBOYZ."

The reviews don't surprised me. The iPad mini is pretty much the same thing as the iPad 2. If they said the iPad 2 was great, then they can't say the iPad isn't great. That's the beauty of apple releasing the same product over and over again. You can't release criticize it. When the iPad first came out, it's like the iPhone, but bigger, so it's great. Now the iPad mini comes out and everyone is saying it's like the iPad, but smaller, so it's great. I'm going to predict the future and say when the iPhone 5S and iPad 5th Generation, and the New iPad Mini comes out, all of the reviews will say it's the same thing, but newer, so it's great.
