Apple iPad mini catching up with supply, may sell a huge 12 million by year-end
Share:
iPad mini estimates have been allegedly varying and while initial forecasts were for Apple to sell around 10 million, low yields had it reconsider to between 6 and 8 million. Now, however, yields have reportedly improved and the company can break the 10 million barrier and sell as many as 12 million.
What’s interesting is that Apple is expected to sell as many iPad minis in the forthcoming Q1 2013, as in the traditionally very strong Holiday quarter. The iPad mini is a 7.9-inch tablet with almost the same dimensions as other 7-inch tablets because of its small bezel. Prices for the basic Wi-Fi-only model start at $329.

i still hate the fact that this it's selling even though overprice!
it seems like 7" isn't ideal but 8" that is almost similar to 7" size

I would say no. For $80 LESS, I can get quad core processing, an HD screen and double the storage.

People need to understand for many folks is not about the specs it about function to them. I know a lot of People who still are not utilizing HD TV at home, so why would they care on a mobile device?
Some people will stick to Apple because for a long time they were one of the only outlets for Movies and TV series. Not many do not want to pay the cost to transition to another tablet.
Sure a Quad Core is not but how many folks really will notice the difference. People on Phonearena are likely to notice difference, but the number of people who don't and won't care are plenty.

apple lets try this out, lets just wait to the end of each quarter where you can give us real concrete numbers of your overpriced i device sold, instead of all the reported increased orders and your rotten apple zombie analysis and stockholders crazy predictions of what you are projected to sell.

I bought mine almost two weeks ago with almost 25% discount and i love it. Nothing wrong with it and battery lasts 12 hours or more.
