Apple iPad crashes the Grammy Awards, hidden in Stephen Colbert's jacket
Stephen Colbert was looking to present the list of nominees for Song of The Year at the Grammy Awards when he whipped out...a brand spanking new Apple iPad. Talk about product placement. Colbert then said , "Jay Z, did you not get one of these in your gift bag? Am I cooler than you?" Don't just take our word for it-check out the video below. What's next on the iPad's schedule? Late night parties at South Beach before the Super Bowl? By the way, the winner for Song of The Year was "Single Ladies" by Beyonce and her team.

i don't feel like ipad news belongs on a phone sight, i don't see netbooks getting any love.

Read the reviews, phonearena reviews several netbooks that are available thru cell carriers. And the ipad will have service available thru AT&T. Granted this story slightly wreaks of fanboyism

Especially considering it is not as good as netbooks but we all have to remember Mac stuff is obviously top of the line because it just is. At least thats the only reason I can figure out.

You mean it's not as good as a cheap piece of $%^& netbook because it is faster, supports higher quality graphics, and won't crash? Thought so.

You just love talking out of you ass don't you. Look up the specs on some netbooks you tool. They have faster processesors and can MULTITASK.

As you eloquently put it, not all netbooks are cheap pieces of "$%^& " and even some have the specs to leave the overhyped iPad behind biting the dust. So read up, inform yourself, and stop spewing ignorant rants.

that guy was trying to be funny last night, but failed miserably. no one laughed at his jokes and he embarrassed himself.

"that guy" dude thats stephen colbert. hes hilarious. well atleast his show on comedy central is funny. i didnt watch the grammys so i dont know how well he did but hes usually pretty funny

I tend to agree, his jokes were really out of place and awkward at times, and then when he pulled that big ipod touch out, it really made the crowd almost turn against him for such blatant plugging !! And I like Colbert , I think he usually is funnier, perhaps he is just funny when he follows the script though.

What about the Netbook Navigator? That is going to have both AT&T and VZW and it is fully funciton W7 Home Premium Tablet PC. I don't see PA talking about that. So yes, a glorified eReader/iPhone OS hybrid isn't interesting to me, but I understand all the She(a)pple out there will sell their souls, left kidneys, and first borns for anything that makes them feel like they are one step closer to touching steve jobs.
