Looking for a way to make a slimmer iPhone, Apple has filed a patent application for a new SIM card tray that would eliminate the need for the ejector mechanism and hold the SIM card in place using magnets; this could lead a slimmer form factor for a future Apple iPhone. The USPTO on Thursday released the application which was originally filed in April 2012...

Nice thing but this lead another patent war. Because most of the companies and even people doesn't remember their innovations and fight on pity things like patents.

do you even know what the patent is about? guess not. typical Apple fan blind devotion.
True technological advance are not in Apple DNA. They can't even produce their own component for their iDevices.
Yet Apple shamelessly pursue this form of patent lawsuit worldwide only to be laugh at. Some to the extend that the court order them to amend their website reflect the true.

Ur opinion already showed u an Apple hater. Yes, patent is about who discover it first and they have to mark it as their own property. Like nokia, most of their patents aren't allowed to be used by other phones makers, unless there is an agreement between them.
Apple might not produce the components for their iPhone, but they have brain to come up with something that others can't do it. Let me give u an example. If ios wasn''t created, do u think Android has this day? Will ur samsung phone or other become a touchscreen smartphone like u have nowsday? Just see the fairness of this.

Yes, Apple has been and might still be (or maybe is still) as innovative as it used to be. Yes, they continue to innovate, however small or actually useful the innovation is. Even praising them for whatever they do just to make your love for Apple public is fine. My point is- why do you praise Apple at the expense of Samsung or Nokia or whatever?
See, technology is technology- and if there's something technology is good at, it's making people's life richer and easier. So like Apple, even Samsung, Nokia, HTC or whatever Company there is, deserve the words of praise and compliments for host of innovations they are known for. And they should at least be given that.
I'm fine if you praise and compliment Apple for something like the above post. But if such compliments are coming at the expense of other Company, there's a problem buddy. And I do not appreciate this.

U got a good point here. But u should say like this to Apple haters too. Every article about Apple, those pathetic haters just come here and bash like mental trolls.

It's a very small thing but it's nice. This is what I call attention to detail.
