Apple files another complaint with the International Trade Commission against HTC

0. phoneArena 11 Jul 2011, 10:00 posted on

Since the first complaint against HTC is unlikely to hold water, Apple has filed another one, allegedly for different patents infringement this time, which might overlap with the complaint against Samsung...

Simple and easy, that makes it better. That sounds like boring and less functionality to me and that is exactly what it looks like. If I wanted simple and easy I would have stuck with a feature phone, which is what the iPhone truly is but I won't go there. And since you have to keep it simple (for) stupid people, I guess iOS is perfect for you, huh?

simple and easy is for stupid people huh? So do you want a car that just works or one you have to meddle with and customize all the time. Why even bother with a windows interface on your computer. Just use DOS input because windows is simple and for stupid people. What a dumb argument. iOS has all the functionality of android and more in some cases and it's way more user friendly and intuitive.

I don't think all iPhone users are stupid. Just the one liked using that k.I.s.s acronym as to why I should like the iPhone. That was his argument, not mine.

I like the iPhones interface, its just much less appealing than Android. Blocks only get me so far and then I need to change things up. With an iOS device, I can't do that. iOS obviously doesn't have all the functionality of Android because there is still no flash.

User friendly is good initially, but press and hold is not really hard to figure out. Wanna add a widget, press and hold one finger to your screen. Why is that so much more difficult to some iOS users to understand.

And still, no one has told me why my iPad force closes more than my Droid X. Isn't that supposed to be a problem with ALL Android devices? And no one has given me any solid reason why the iPhone is better. Give me a feature, a function, something, anything...

There are a thousand reasons why your ipad may force close more then you droid. Most of them are due to usage. Maybe you picked up a virus being a dumbass. I know many people that have droids that they have had to exchange there phones because after 10 seconds of use its completely frozen. then after going for help at the store they download gingerbread and they cant turn on there phone. Explain that. After an exchange it still happens. Many people have had these problems all of them are getting the iphone next.

Also widgets suck. When i had android i got rid of them. They are all stupid and drain battery. The only one I had was a battery widget which I dont need on the iphone it has a decent battery life.

Remember, iOS is supposed to be more secure, so your virus theory doesn't hold water. It also doesn't explain why other people are having the exact same issue. iOS isn't as perfect as you all pretend it is!

As for the issues happening with your friends phones, probably legit. And if they get iPhones, poor them. But the smart ones will probably see how little the iPhone does and come back to Android.

Lastly, that twice you have insulted me with stupid and dumbass. Your little pea brain can't come up with any real answer to my questions because you lack the knowledge and experience, so all you have now are insults. Come back when you actually KNOW something.

I didnt say you were a dumbass but did a stupid thing. And didnt say you were stupid thats the acronym. You insulted me pea brain. If you were in a crash because you blew a red you did something stupod but it doesnt mean you are.

Just becase its more secure doesnt mean it will never get viruses if you did a stupid thing and got one then thays why it crashed. It wont stop all viruses but alpt of them.
Why would they go back. Most of them have it because iphone was not out for their carrier and they ran promotions. There not going to say hey this doesnt has flash so even though it works fine i want to go back to the device that wont even start up.

Let's try it this way, I know for a fact there are no viruses on this iPad. Why is it force closing?

Well first of all when it comes to tablets apps are a huge difference with iOS having 100,000 now compared to less than 1,000 for android I believe.

You know that you don't even believe yourself when you say iOS isn't more stable than android. What's the point of explaining the reasons why when you just won't admit it?

iOS is much more user friendly, is more stable, has more and better apps, has a better ecosystem and support.

I realize android has some features like speech recognition and flash that iOS doesn't but because of the reasons I listed I prefer iOS.

I'm a DROID power user. I like to get things done. You wouldn't understand. I like to be able to get to a native, free navigation system with only a few taps of my fingers. I like to be able to decide what I want cluttering up my homescreen, and how to organize my apps in their drawer. I like my notifications to be nonintrusive, and I like to be able to wirelessly sync all of my contacts. I like to use the wealth of apps, paid and free, that are available to me. I like to have a platform that's constantly being improved by people who care about what they're delivering to their customers. I like to be able to choose my manufacturer, price point and hardware. I like to be able to modify my phone's software if I so choose, and to have plenty of choices regarding my phone even if I don't.

I like to be able to play Flash content in the browser, because not every site uses Youtube. I like having a bigger screen and a better touchscreen keyboard, one that's not restricted by a size that was only considered big four years ago.

I like to be able to unlock my phone and not be instantly bored by how samey and cookie cutter it is. I like deep levels of functionality in my device.

And you ,know what? I don't mind a little lag here and there. Only nitpicky dips**ts need everything to be completely pretty all the time. The rest of us care about whether or not it works for us, instead of us working for it.

iPhone is nice, but it just doesn't do it for me. DROID DOES.

But my phone does work, beautifully I might add. I'm typing on it right now. In fact, I'd say that a good 70 percent of my posts are typed on my DROID X.

so you listed a bunch of hardware features which has nothing to do with android and then you listed features that the iPhone has like

wealth of apps
customizable homescreen
app drawere (folders in iOS)
wireless syncing

only thing you listed is flash that iphone doesn't have and you can even get that through apps.

So while you waste your day rearranging your widgets and installing custom skins and roms I'll complete actual tasks with my iPhone.

FORCE CLOSE!

And if it hasn't been said already, the folders on iOS is a really poorly executed feature. The blocks within a block thing just looks really sloppy! That's why I love Gesture Search for Android.

What? No copying? Then how would you explain the photo of the iphone right next to a Samsung phone in this link below? 4x4 icons, with another row of 4 static icons at the bottom.

That's Samsung, one manufacturer, and the app layout and general icon design are superficial similarities. I can still tell the two apart at a glance, and so can any customer who has an IQ somewhere above the young earth creationist level.

It's so clear it's copied come on. It's like talking with Stevie wonder. I would be mad to if I was apple the interface is a poor rendition of iOS. Who cares though everyone will still buy apple because its better people know it. Did you ever see how busy an apple store is. The only thing that deters people is price if u can afford it you by apple (except if your a geek who things its cool to have android) everyone I know with a droid got it because it was cheaper or iPhone wasn't on carrier

DROID X: 200 bucks on contract originally, now 150. Samsung Galaxy S: same. DROID series: same. DROID Incredible: same. EVO 4G: same. People flocked in droves to these phones. They wouldn't do that if they were merely settling.

they were settling that's why iPhone is now the best selling phone on VZW even though it's over 1 year old

None of those phones sold more then an iphone. Once they realize that apple doesn't have flash for a reason and get tired of the phone crashing they will just want the phone to work and get a iphone as has happened to me.

That is right because with Android you have choice. You can get a Droid X, Samsung Fascinate, Droid 2, Droid Incredible, Evo 4G, Samsung Epic 4G, & so on. Wow that is six phones to the one iPhone 4. That doesn't include the NEW Android Phones which are selling VERY WELL. With Apple it's ONLY the iPhone 4 so that is why Apple sold more. It's simple mathematics! If you add all those phone sales it would kill the Apple sales. Android is #1 in the US & the world. Please understand that! Plus Android phones work, if they didn't no one would buy them. So what are you talking about?

plus, samsung isn't the only 1 that copies by the look of things

When HTC had phones, Apple had not even heard of SIM cards. Ops, sorry, they still don't get it - micro SIM...
