Apple dropping Audience noise filtering from new iPhone, may allow Siri on other iOS hardware
0. phoneArena 06 Sep 2012, 20:14 posted on
It's a bit amazing that this information is just coming out now, since we're less than a week away from what is expected to be the new iPhone announcement on September 12th, but Audience has just announced that its noise filtering technology will not be part of future iOS devices running Siri...

is it me or the light of the new lumias and razrs made any apple news... BORING!?!
3. ivanko34 (Posts: 617; Member since: 04 Sep 2011)
But all that the leaks about nothing are part of the com business of apple
8. quakan (Posts: 1081; Member since: 02 Mar 2011)
Not for me, I easily ignored the lumia because it's a windows phone and the new motos don't excite me one bit.

But you can get excited for another version of the slightly updated iPhone line correct? Ifaithful make no sense sometimes, you know full well that next year there will a next iPhone 5S or something close to it that will add something that was left out purposely on this upcoming device. Why? Because Apple you idiots will buy whatever the hell they release, because it's so damn good.
Same jail cell, but with more room that you still can't personalize. What is funny as hell is the amount of exterior iPhone personalization that basically covers up the phone that this company said is a trademark design. What crap, I can't even see what the phone looks like because it's hidden inside some insidious looking case. But every iPhone screen looks identical, it's like have clones but they all wear different colored clothes to set them apart. Gotta love Apple's idea of individuality, while telling it's faithful that they are too stupid to tell their beloved device apart from another company's similar looking device? I so want to join this cult of fool, where the hell do I sign up?

Good news. Siri needs to be standard on all iOS devices (including iPods!).
6. jael206 (Posts: 114; Member since: 18 Jul 2012)
hmmm.. interesting. put siri also in the nano, then you'll be like talking to your wrist watch already. beam me up scotty!
15. xtian1103 (Posts: 352; Member since: 11 Feb 2012)
that would be something i'll hope for. sort of like a japanese sentai character calling their robots thru their wristwatches. lol
29. gwuhua1984 (Posts: 1237; Member since: 06 Mar 2012)
So the next sentai series is going to be based on iPhones and siri... fighting Androids and WP?
Hm... sounds like Japan is in deep trouble then...

how is apple desperate? another idiot....u do know apple is worth 650 billion dollars right? the richest recorded in history.....i dont think they have any thing to be desperate about. theyre just gonna continue to make great devices for theyre consumers.

Speaking of idiots - do you know which company has been suing anyone and everyone...do you know which company has been losing market share and only sells their phones well in one country?
25. ftyler223 (Posts: 140; Member since: 06 Aug 2012)
theyve only just started the slow down turn cuz everyone knows the next iphone is coming out. Just like before. and just like people stopped buying the s2 b4 the s3 came out.So youre statement means nothing. This is common. Apple is fine right where they are. And theyre suing companies for copying them. Clearly by being the most valuable company would mean they dont need money so shut it. Take your google goggles off for a second and look at the facts.
31. gwuhua1984 (Posts: 1237; Member since: 06 Mar 2012)
Um... the iPhone sales are only strong in the states... Android took over marketshare everywhere else long before S3's arrival even when 4S came out. You're right about one thing tho... they are fine where they are cause they still make more than enough revenue to keep doing what they're doing now. The only thing is who knows how much longer it'll last.

In order for a company to be healthy, its future must be ensured, no matter how rich the company might be.
If Apple suddently stops selling products today, they will be out of money in no time...
21. darkkjedii (Posts: 9326; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
If any company suddenly stopped selling products they'd b outta money n no time. That's a dumb statement, cuz u typed it to bash applet but it applies to every company n history dude. Please b intelligent man.
24. chaoticrazor (Posts: 2347; Member since: 28 Aug 2012)
you talk of been intelligent and you type like an idiot , yeah you should look in the mirror and tell yourself that. Apple might be rich now but with there lack of innovation and same old selling pionts and with android and wp8 they'll start to fall
26. ftyler223 (Posts: 140; Member since: 06 Aug 2012)
Ya but kostas apple isnt gonna stop selling products you dont get it....why even say what u just said? Okay sure everyone needs to ensure theyre future but apple isnt gonna stop making money. So your statement is irrelevent.
27. chaoticrazor (Posts: 2347; Member since: 28 Aug 2012)
you pretty much just repeat yourself dont you
no statement is irrelevent except yours. big companys can fall

Great news! I hope I get it on my iPhone 4 (crosses fingers)
17. joey_sfb (Posts: 1976; Member since: 29 Mar 2012)
May happen thanks to Google putting their Voice Search on the iOS platform pending approval from apple. Google like to watch apple squirm about it.

It really has become boring, I remember last year I was kinda excited to watch the keynote, even though I don't like apple at all, but I liked seeing what new things they were bringing to the table, but this year is different, all those iPhone 5 leaks have killed the interest I had before, the phone is just boring, uglier than the 4+4s.

siri for ipod touch 4g?
experienced it on my bro's iphone 4s
i like it,it talks like a human,it expresses feelings(happiness and disappointment),it also gives human like answers in many occasions instead of just giving web results all the time and try its best to make the user feel like there is someone inside the device.... but i would mainly use it for opening apps......i have around 157 apps and games, so it would be easier to just ask siri to open the apps
searching the web with siri is also good,it looks polished and refined but the google search app's update would be good enough for getting web results and a few direct answers, its also really fast so i don't need siri for searching the web, i want siri to talk to it like a real human and also for little tasks like opening apps.......

16. techspace (Posts: 394; Member since: 03 Sep 2012)

Apple has a new slogan:
The new iphone 4GS - welcome to 2010.
22. zhypher_23 (Posts: 195; Member since: 04 Jun 2012)
Now the people who bought 4S over the iPhone 4 are getting ripped off...they're already planning on putting Siri on the iPhone 4, so does this mean people who've upgraded from 4 to 4s went to nothing? lol just lol...
28. ftyler223 (Posts: 140; Member since: 06 Aug 2012)
How can say they been ripped off? They also got a better camera and processor. And not to mention theyre already using siri as appossed to waiting a whole yr! U sound stupid. Droidfans please grow up and stop making every little thing about apple a negative one. Its rediculous. We arent in kindergarden any more. U dont see apple fans hopping on every little article just to talk s**t. So why do it yourself? Why get mad at someone for liking another os? What are you occomplishing at the end of the day by that? Its annoying and childish.

I doubt it, they want you to spend more money.
Google now is light years ahead anyways, try searching for scallions on the nexus and on 4S, or search on YouTube and be amused
