maybe all of the iphone users have to go to the app store because all of thier phones come stripped down and a clone that you cant do anything with......... until you BUY every small feature to try and make it unique or "cool"

So.......your argument is that GIN is stupid so therefore it doesnt count????? MANY of the same apps on the iphone store are available on GIN but thats right im sorry, we dont have a fart app. I could just send you the .wav file and save you the money though. Not liking something is no reason to summarily dismiss it, unless its the iphone of course!

also, you are complaining about bad graphics for games on a 670 or 6100? What are you smoking crack? VZW has had Metal Gear Solid Mobile as an exclusive for a year now in addition to a library of games that puts the iapp store to shame, you see, there is not much you can do gamewise with nothing but a touchscreen. I pity anyone playing games on an iphone, "YAY, I can turn my phone, Di Di Di!".

I guess you're right. No matter how much it sucked (to me cause I guess you liked it), Get it Now was really the first application store. I'm not afraid to admit that. But please please please tell me you are joking. You cannot be serious about the GIN being superior. I'm saying this not because I am an Apple fanyboy like people might be thinking (people can think whatever but I kind of don't care) but because I've played a few of those games a little more than 6 months ago on my Voyager. Metal Gear Solid is not even that good. Try searching Metal Gear Solid for iphone and tell me which one is better graphic wise. Konami even made an advertisement for the iphone version. And why do people keep talking about that fart application? I think that's one of the dumbest application ever. If someone really wants to make fart sounds, they don't need an application. I honestly had to delete applications (like Real Soccer 2009) from my phone because someone I knew kept asking to play it every single time I saw him. Before I deleted it, he even told me not to mess with his file. And the games with the accelerometer are pretty good (they beat GIN's $10.99 for 3D pinball), but I think the best games on the phone are the ones that don't use it. A FEW games on GIN are not that bad either. I did really really enjoy a 3D snowboarding game, but I had to delete that too. Not because someone I knew really liked it but because my subscription was over and I didn't want to pay another $4 for another month subscription or another $8 for unlimited use.

That really wasn't a burn. I really can't find any of this information anywhere on the web. I'm googling my butt off but I see nothing. I can't find anything but if you say its off the official VZW infomanger then it must be true. I'll take it as the truth even though its really really hard to believe. But this might include ringtones and wallpaper and stuff.

I agree with the majority of your statement. I believe in its current state the GIN store is superior to the Iphone store but the Iphone store is catching up, fast. I have seen some really impressive stuff on both platforms but I cant stand playing touchscreen games becuase my finger will block the screen and I cant see playing any fast-paced action game with out a d-pad and buttons. Just doesnt seem like it works but racing games and others will work well on the iphone without a doubt. Some of them have been ported to VZW and work very well on the Versa.

I can't really comment on the racing games because Ive never played one in my phone. Racing games don't really appeal to me. But I think that the app store is ahead and Verizon is trying to catch up. One thing that I remember reading is an article that said Verizon plans on releasing it's own app store. First of all, I thought Verizon already had an app store (GIN) and second if it was really that great I see no need in making another one. I really don't beleive that GIN is superior. If you're using the commercials of the iPhone/iPod games, then don't. Most of those are fun little happy happy games used for just advertising, but those are not how all the games are like. I'm sure most people on this site, whether iPhone/iPod users or not, will agree with me when I say that the app store games are better/more fun than GIN or other cellular games.

**REPLAY TO LEGION*** WOW! That's a great point, even though GIN doesn't have THAT great of APPS its true, wheres BIG Red's spot light? I believe **E.N.** (an obvious iPhone user) clearly stated why is it that we have to complain about iPhone updates everyday but its o.k for blackberry ones...Yet just in the post below you stated that no one "Care's or cared" about get it now. fow someone who thrives on "post worthy fairness" you seem to be a hypocrite. iPhone and Storm alike, App store, GIN, or any Brew or APP world program deserves attention...Heed what you preach, cause when you post something worth reading you want to be consistent through and through, contradiction merely makes you look intolerant.
