Apple caves in, removes the Wikileaks app from the App Store

0. phoneArena posted on 21 Dec 2010, 04:59

Apple pulls the plug on the dedicated Wikileaks application that appeared in the App Store recently. Obviously any trouble with the law is undesired; the company is probably considered too cool by Wikileaks supporters for DDoS attacks anyway...

LOL leave it to Apple to be just like the rest and follow the crowd. Wikileaks is NOT a terrorist website, they ARE NOT acting in treason. They're literally a website that posts the thing us as voters and tax payers have the RIGHT to know. We run the government not the other way around.

Wiki over cnn any time. Understanding the notion of FREEDOM in speech and challenging those given power to ultimately regulate that power. Wiki is the reminder.... The whistle blower.... The humanity we must open our eyes to while cnn blinds us with story every two months, distracting us from all the other REAL THINGS taking place on the world. Pretty sure an apps known as "eyzopen" and provided by wiki would be the best apps available.

so its ok to steal information and then release it?? so then when somebody hacks your computer and steals your personla information you guys wont have a problem with it right? because its freedom of speech. ok great i get how the word works now. my main problem with wikileaks is that the guy isnt even american and has never lived here. this is a guy who has stealing things as his hobby. He is a terrorist.
