lol note users were so happy about 64gb internal + 64gb sd card = 128gb, saying how awesome it was now apple makes 128gb internal and people say "meh". Welcome to the mobile universe where infact everyone is one-sided!! :D

Regardless of android or apple, 128gb is overkill

What?
A single full HD movie is over 10 gigabytes.
There are games over 3gb, and new titles will only increase that.
And again, you can't just connect external disc or flash storage to an iOS device.

128GB is necessary for a heavy iPad user if you ask me.

Overkill? I maxxed out my 64GB iPod the moment I got it. This is not overkill, far from it actually.

Agree with Scurt. Apps really are not the big deal, cause, while there are heavy games around 2 GB, most use only 100 megabytes. 3 GB give you movies in pleasant quality, music is about 5 GB. So my 32 GB work out fine for me and there is a reason why most manufacturers stick to it.

If you want to use your iPad for all kinds of media without deleting anything, even 256 would not be enough, so be aware of that before buying this overpriced version.

LOL, funniest comment ever! 128GB for mobile photography LOL, seriously, thank you for the laughs! Not even attaching a dslr to a tablet to send the pictures directly "128GB for photography" makes much sense unless you never intend to move pictures from there, so I don't even ask why would you need 128gb to mobile photography, where the files are much smaller. I see the usefulness of 128gb just not for "mobile photography"

No one in their right mind would purchase that for $800. Don't give in people, don't give into Apple's insane profit margin on storage. What a joke. Seeya Apple!

alternitively, you could an entry level tablet with the same size screen for $200 then go pc world or maplin or some american equilivient and buy 128GB external harddrive for $50. Total savings = $550.

A Micro SD card with 128GB range from $94-$134, and you can move it between different devices if you like.
