Apple asks ITC to add newer Samsung models to import ban

Earlier this month, we told you that because the President failed to veto an ITC based import ban, certain older Samsung models cannot be shipped into the U.S. Korean based Samsung still has one last hope, which is an appeal it filed in court; the ITC has found that Samsung was guilty of infringing on a pair of Apple's patents...

No new lawsuits, just keep tacking onto the old ones and keep them active. What's the difference if the outcome is the same?

Pretty obvious that Apple wants to cut competition in the market.

That's pretty much their game these days. I have been disappointed with them lately.

Apple please stop crying like a lil girl. You already damage your image. Plus the Gov't is shutdown.

I like what Apple is doing and American government as a whole. They think they are pulling samsung down but instead they are making Sammy strong. Sammy has evolved and matured over the years if you are a good observer of their tech. Each year they drastically improve on every single thing. The more Apple sues Sammy the more they will find ways and means of incorporating new tech into their phones to sway people away from iPhone. The galaxies are selling and they are selling like hot cakes. The note 3 is a phone Apple will wish to build but they simple can't. It is years and years ahead of every single iPhone including the prototypes in their labs. F**K apple in their rotten stupid Ass.

Wouldn't they have to have a completely different trial to determine if these models infringe on patents? It's not like they can win a case and say "Oh, by the way, can we throw these newer devices on as well?" And it kinda sounds like they want the court to revisit the patents that were already ruled on. They must be the only company I know that treats a win like a loss. If this keeps up what competitor won't have a phone that they believe infringes on their IP? Also, why aren't they asking to be monetarily compensated for the infringement? If this isn't trying to set the market using the courts I don't know what is.

This just hammers in why I can't in good conscience purchase Apple products. I'm a little leery of Samsung's litigious nature as well, but nobody has gone to the degree that Apple is.

Apple is losing customers. Thats why they are acting like the playground bully and using the court system to get their way instead of beating them outright like Samsung is doing to them. I don't like how Apple is doing business and it makes me not want anything to do with their products.

Besides gold plating their products and make it appealing to gold lovers, not much interesting stuff has been coming out from them since iPhone 4.

And this is why apple must be destroyed.

Apple serves the "stockholders & corporations",,, their people too.
Even though Samsung employs more Americans than Apple does!

The more u want, the more u have to lose later!
Sooner or later, peoples will get tired o that Apple doing right now and they will lose more then gain by keep suing.
Peoples will thinks: "why ban Samsungs phones? Are they better then Iphones?"
Apple are making free commercial for Sammy and just wait and see the show.

Last 1 billion dollar commercial ... Apple is yet to get even a cent.

Expected. As 5C fails Samsung will be dragged to court. Old Apple technique which now is stale and stinks. To make it worse the govt protects them and then tries to educate the world on "democracy" ... prevalent double standards.

Go home Apple, you're drunk.
Fix ios7 crashes, security bugs, BSOD, and accelerometer issue. In other words, clean your own house first.
