There is already an iPod Touch (with 4 inch display size). A 7.85 inch display size is more in keeping with an XL version of the Touch. Taking the analogy to something of an extreme, an iPod Touch L would imply a display size in the 5.5 inch territory.

Maybe next year for an iPod Touch L (with 5.5 inch display)? Especially if the Note II pulls down 20+ million sales.

samsung galaxy note 10.1 is much more focused and specialised then your oversized ipod touch. the nexus 7 is an excellent little tablet. and surface well they could be massive if marketed and priced right.

you gotta stop giving apple credit for everything thats out today, you give apple credit for tablets and now android. even if the iphone weren't ever conceived android would have still appeared. one isnt dependant on the other.

And still it's going like nothing .. I won't buy it yet cz I cannot afford that much money and I'm hoping to use my current smartphone as long as I can. Cz I never haven't use a phone more than 7 or 8 month. Cz I went to phone by phone .. I gut ma leap to every new mobiles since I got my current phone. Yeah it is .. My current phone is iphone4 and its wow its doing lot for me. Now more than 2 years .. I'm not saying it is the best .. It's just my best .. Cz I'm trying to use it as long as I can. ( I'm looking for better android which I still didn't c ) I like Sony ones.. Htc ones ... U know what just don't bark on any company. Just stay with what u like and what u can buy ... Poor guy ..
