Before the sequel to last year's epic patent trial between Samsung and Apple begins, Judge Lucy Koh wants both sides to cut down the patents they are claiming were infringed on and the devices that did the alleged infringing; by February 5th, 2014, each side is supposed to be down to five patents that they are claiming were infringed, and ten devices that are alleged to have infringed those patents...

I like to see them fight cuz that will make them develop their devices more and more to improve themselves

improve? like making the galaxy lineup more plastic and ugly . . . and adding "s" at the end of every version of a new phone model?

I disagree. All this does is distract them from innovating and funnel away resources.

They are developing more devices
BUT they arent improving themselves. they both are just using same blueprints for every device.

This is the tech's biggest joke ever. How could they have a trial at Cupertino, apple's backyard. They might as well hold the court at Apple's headquarter office. This trial is such a joke that's it's not even funny.
If there is such thing as blind justice, they should have moved the trial to another state, or at least another city. How can you get a fair trial, when most of the people are apple employees or connected to apple in some way.
I'd be surprised, if samsung don't get fined another billion or two for anything really.

Welcome to the PA comment section, where you'll get bashed for expressing your opinion.

If you are implying that Igneel was bashing anyone with his comment then you need to look up the definition of bashing. If I misunderstood you then I apologize.

Thanks but I've actually been here for a while already. It's just that PA suddenly banned me from commenting or voting last week :P

Yeah Smurf said it right. Be prepared to get ripped apart on this site, just for being honest. Very few unbiased people here. Inspectorgadget80, gmr1, droiddoes, andro, and Troll are pretty bad.

Alan, what's the rest of Samsung's U.S. Patent No. 7,232,058?
All you're including is, "...on a 'data displaying apparatus and method'." so then what exactly is the function on a data displaying apparatus and method being described here?
